I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH BRAIN CANCER AND I AM ON DAILY CHEMO / RADIATION TREATMENT. IT WILL BE A LONG PROCESS, OR SO WE ARE TOLD. MEANWHILE OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH THIS SITE WILL BE VERY LIMITED, PARTICULARLY SINCE I CAN NOT DRIVE AND MUST WALK WITH A CANE, NOT THE SAFESTEST WAY TO GO AROUND A CEMETERY.|
WE HAVE ENJOYED OUR ASOSSIATION WITH THIS NEEDED SITE BUT BEFORE YOU KNOWN IT, I MAY BE ADDING MY OWN NAME TO IT. AFTER ALL WHO KNOWS MORE ABOUT ME THAN MYSELF?
Tony and Patricia (Logan) were married in 1961.
Upon retirement from the Army, Tony pursued a career in Industrial Security management.
Fully retired we enjoy many things we did not have time for during the working days, like golfing, stained glassworks, as well other projects such as Find-a-Grave, volunteer at our church, as well enjoying grand parenting and great-grand parenting.
Our largest single project, the listing and photographing ALL laid to rest in our church cemetery, Saint Marys, Sherman Texas, is completed, and ongoing as more individuals are laid to rest. We are now focusing our attention to Cedarlawn Memorial Park here in Sherman.
Properly attributed, any photo that we have posted may be used in your family records. This includes Ancestry and published family history books.
If we added a memorial from someone's immediate family, we will gladly transfer ownership if requested, EXCEPT for those laid to rest at St Mary's Cemetery, which is maintained by the Parish for accurate recording. We will however add any obituaries or other information provided to us, after we verify the information to be correct.
We suggest a virtual cemetery be added where all member of a family can be located in one place.

Thank you so very much for adding the information I sent to you on John Adams. I appreciate all you have done to maintain the pages on Find A Grave.
|Kay Conditt Robertson||Thomas Glenn Carroll|
I got your message about Thomas being a double listing. I was not aware of that.
I am sorry to read about your illness.
Thomas Carroll's mother was my grandmother's 1st cousin through his mother, Bessie Lee VanCleave Carroll. Would you consider transferring to me or let me know what I need to do. I have entered mine in hopes of finding more information on our VanCleave relatives as they are very few left with that name.

Dear Patricia and Tony,
Tony, I just read of your fight with cancer... I’m so sorry.
I want to let you know you will both be in my thoughts and prayers.
Also, I want to thank you for the extraordinary genealogy research you have done.
It is very much appreciated by our family.
Take care of yourselves... and keep fighting.
With much respect,

Hi to you both,
Gosh you have done some great work. All of us older long time volunteers have been around a few years. I was traveling from Tulsa to Houston and stopped at Fairview Cem. Dennison to visit my Uncle Percy Paul's grave WW11 and was asked by my DAR sister to look for some WW1 graves and came across this hero that you have posted. It was a good day for pics and took a good one and then added his photo. Also pulled his WW1 Registration and got his middle name. Would you please arrange the photos for the best look of the grave post? I appreciate you wonderful volunteers. Thanks for all you do making find a grave better and better!

|George Paul Farris||Thanks and prayers abound...|
First, I want to thank you for your sacrifices and service to our republic! Also, to you and Patricia for the yeoman's service and all the contributions to historical preservation you've made both to Find A Grave, and your community.
Perhaps I shouldn't use a naval term when addressing a soldier. I too am an old soldier, still battling a number of service connected maladies—one day at a time.
Nevertheless, I want you to know you have not only my best wishes, but intentions for your improved health in my prayers for you, and Patricia, who at the same time is going through a lot with you, and is no doubt confronting the painful possibility of your changing worlds. The dignity and courage with which your facing your current challenges are inspiring. You are "sine pari"—without equal.

and Special Forces
