I am 77 yrs old, divorced once, widowed twice. Am interested in genealogy of HOGENMILLER/VANLEER (maternal grandparents) and WOLFE/WISER (paternal grandparents). Have traced Wolfe ancestors back to 1700's in Washington and Sugarcreek twps. in Armstrong Co. Pa. Traced Vanleer/Long in Indiana County to 1800. Traced Hogenmiller/Wamganz back to Germany late 1700's. Interested in obtaining any info on these Families. Worked in Law enforcement (first full-time female Police Officer in Armstrong County-1979 and first female Police Chief -1990)and as Sec/Recept. at Drug/Alcohol facility-2008 till retirement in June 2012.
Photographing Cowan Cemetery in North Buffalo Twp. No longer have an automobile so cannot photograph graves on a regular basis.
I am also interested in creating FAG pages for persons of interest from Armstrong County and have successfully added PHOEBE REBECCA ELIZABETH ELWINA (FINLAY) STUART-LINTON-known as Lady Linton & -FREDDIE CUNNINGHAM - daring slack wire walker - and JOHNNY ANDREWS - daredevil stuntman who worked in movies for Howard Hughes..
I also perform an historic re-enactment of Lady Linton for various Genealogical and Historic groups. Work with my nephew Pete Harmon and put-on Genealogical/Historical presentations around the area.
