I have been a genealogist and family history researcher for many years. I grew up near Albany, Minnesota and spent my career in secondary education as a Library Media Specialist. Find A Grave is a wonderful project. It is a way to leave a legacy for the people in one's family. It has also helped me to connect with living family members. And, some of my memorials made it possible for others to find family members. I don't want anyone to be forgotten.|

He was born Rochus Bijas, changed to Bias upon Declaration of Intent. Wife Anna is Johanna Langner. Not sure why they chose to go with their nicknames on their headstones but those are their nicknames. I am their 4th great grand daughter. The issues revolve more around Silesia Poland (where they were born) as this is present day 3 different countries and during Hitler's Third Reich most of the documents were ordered destroyed. But thank you for adding that insert on their last names on the site. I appreciate that.

We respectfully request permission to use Lewis' cemetery marker photo in our online tree with credit. Lewis is Marie's cousin and the photo will make a great addition.
Thanks for your consideration.

|Evie (Greer) Schipper||Thank you.|
Thank you very much for posting the obituary for
Ludwig Joseph Meier, Memorial# 124830233. What a wonderful surprise. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness. You are welcome to post obituaries on any or all of my memorials. If you can easily locate the newspaper information it came from that would be great, but not necessary.

Thanks for the obit. SW

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had roots/ties to Vt. Edward hand is one such patriot. May I use the gravestone photo that you contributed to Find A Grave for his memorial page, to post on the Vermont C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

|John/Mary Jo Rogowski||RE: Vivian Otto|
Hold off on transfering Heinrich/Henry Otto until I can located Vivian's obituary. She did marry an Otto w/a successful car dealership and he was older. I will try to find the obit and get back to you w/a transfer request if Henry was her husband. Thank you for the suggestion. John
|John/Mary Jo Rogowski||Vivian Otto|
Please excuse our oversight. We just requested a tranfer of a memorial and neglected to give you to the info you need. Vivan Otto is a relative of my wife and we would like you to transfer the management of her memorial to us. Thank you for your consideration.
