Hello to everyone, |
I retired from the Post Office in 2009. As a favor to my Mom, I started researching our family trees. I still can't believe how adictive it has become. I search out grave stones as my final documentation. Besides, I like knowing where my relatives are. Also, I really enjoy being able to leave flowers for the ones I can't visit.
Many of my photos are taken while strolling through cemeteries. If I am trying to fulfill a photo request, I will take pictures of all stones that I come across with the same name. Maybe they're kin or maybe someone will be looking for a long lost relative. I have found a lot that way.
I will be more than happy to transfer any memorial that I may have created as long as you are a relative. I love to see the pictures and other family information being added, that truely makes it a memorial.
My family trees include Blanton, Jarrell, Carter, Sieber, Johnson, Weber, Cline, King, Mathews, Taylor, and Waller, just to name a few.

Janie I would appreciate the transfer of the Marydith King memorial, my deceased wife, to me? Thanks.
|Jeff Michael Wainwright (Ray)||Clarence Albert Bailey|
Janie My name is Jeff Wainwright I live in Deridder La.
I have been looking to find the family of Clarence Albert Bailey.
My son Tristan is a 15 year old Autistic Filmmaker and he is soon to shoot a Super Short Film called "The Visit" we have come up with a very nice little story line and we would like to use Clarence's grave site (memorial) in the Woodlawn Cemetery as the filming location.
We chose Clarence's name from the Deridder memorial after we saw that he had lost both of his Twin boys Ronald and Donald within just a few days of each other and then shortly after lost his own life. We wonder if he even got word of their passing?
In the film Tristan would play Clarence's son.
Please call and I will tell you our plans for the film 3373967014

This is my great-great grandmother. I'm a member of F A G - but I don't really know how this thing works. I'm tempted to ask if you can transfer this memorial to me, but - like I say - I don't really know what I'm asking if I do. My question for you is this - where did you get that middle name that is attributed to Lenissa? I don't know if I've ever seen that before. In almost every pertinent document (and there are several) having to do with her, her name is spelled differently. I found one fairly definitive document in which she was presented as Lenissa Melissa Kennedy - but the middle name or alternative name you have there on the memorial is not one that shows up in at least 99% of the docs on her. Thank you for posting this shot. I have a photo of it, too - and should have thought to put it up. I'd love to walk through that Grayson cemetery - several of my ggg uncle's family are there. And by the way, this is her second burial, according to one of the descendants of Uriah, Lenissa's son.

Leroy and his wife are the parents of Monte Dale Dykes, who died in Vietnam. His application for military headstone says he is buried at Friendship. If you are in the cemetery,could you look for his stone, it would be a flat granite marker. I would think it would be near or next to his parents leroy and elizabeth.
Thanks for your time

Jacob is my 4th great uncle, and I was wondering if you might transfer his memorial to me. I realize my relationship to him is not precisely in the Find A Grave transfer guidelines, but he is one of my supplemental ancestors for my Sons of Confederate Veterans membership. I would like to be able to manage all the memorials for all my military ancestors, unless a memorial is already managed by a descendant.
Thank you for your consideration.

|Karen Carter Young||Lela Ann Blanton|
I haven't talked to you in a while. I hope you are doing well. I happened to run across the post that Cecil made just previous to this post and, when I checked, Lela Ann Blanton already has a memorial that was created in 2010, so I sent information which should link her to her parents.
