I have been researching my ancestry along with my parents, an aunt and cousins. We have really enjoyed hunting and searching for our past.|
Find A Grave has been an excellent source of information for me, and I feel it is very important to contribute accurate data. I have photographed many gravesites around Alabama and southern Illinois and Indiana, including entire cemeteries. I'll be glad to take volunteer photos. I'm located in eastern Jefferson County, Alabama, near Birmingham.
Please feel free to use any of the information and photos I post on this site and I welcome corrections if mistakes are made.

# 84752769 You created this memorial for Rosa Nell Drawhorn THe grave is empty as she has not died yet. I am her niece. Sometimes it's common practice for when a spouse who has died and one is still living to put surviving spouse's name and DOB on the Headstone.

Sure that would be great. Also Lula Mae Garrett Davis if possible. They are my grandparents. Thank you for taking the pictures, I live out of state.

Thank you for all the work you did @ Macedonia. It really helped me to connect some dots with my wife's family which are Holsomback, Jarvis, & Pickett. Keep up the good work. I only became a Find A Grave member a month ago so I have a lot to learn!

Kathy, they are listed by cemetery. Normally, I believe they are entered into the Veterans site if a military marker is ordered....

I wasn't sure if you could make the corrections on Mrs. William A. Allen Barharst. Her maiden name is Corinne Allen, born October 1898. She married William A. Barhorst (not Barharst) on 28 September 1912 in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama. Her Dad is Wade Timothy Allen (Find A Grave #71561693). Her Mother is actually Sarah "Sallie" McClendon (not Fannie). My Grandfather, Wade Timothy Allen, outlived many wives. His first wife was Fannie. Sarah was his second wife, and mother to Corinne Allen. Sarah Sallie McClendon's Dad was Thomas Jefferson McClendon Find A Grave Memorial# 63245017. Her Mom was Elizabeth Caroline "Carrie" McCain Find A Grave Memorial# 63245005.
Let me know if there is something else I need to do to get these changes made.
Thank you for all of your help and service to our ancestors.

If you are not related to this wonderful lady, would you please transfer her to me to manage.
Memorial #98043811 Gladys Hill Blazer Allen. She is my Aunt. She was married to my uncle
maurice R. Allen. I guess no one has established his grave yet. It should have been next to hers.
