Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in West Virginia but have made ILlinois my home since 1967.

I am currently researching my family tree on my mom's side need information on Lilly, Crawford, Burkes, Burks, Burk, Hornsby, or Horn from Virginia and West Virginia.

On my father side need information on McBride, Fink, Ferguson, Wood.

If i have added any ones relative and they would like to create their own memorial e-mail me and i will delete the record.

I think this is a great site to post burials and cremation, everyone should be remembered even if it is on FIND A GRAVE.

If you have time please stop by and visit my beautiful son Memorial he is the reason i started on this site, some days i cannot visit his grave . So i just log on here and read all the beautiful notes and tokens that have been left for him. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart it means so much to me to know their are such kind people out there

RONALD LEEDALE HARRIS

And a special Thank-You to Medora for sponsoring his site she truly is a angel.

Also stop and visit my mother's site

Please correct the spelling of my G grandmothers maiden name. It was Stephenson. I have documentation of this if you would like it and/or you can see this correct spelling on census and marriage certificate. In addition, she was born in New York, NY. Many thanks.

Henry Gore& Jane Thompson
This is the information on Henry and Jane. I also have the information on his children from both marriages. Henry and Jane are my 4th Great Grandparents.
The love story of Henry Gore and Jane Thompson is not your ordinary tale.
Henry was born in 1791 and married when he was only 17 years old. His wife was an 18 year old girl named Susannah Swiney. They began having children that very same year. By the time they hit age 30 there were already 5 little children in the Gore family.
All the while a young girl had been growing up. In 1820 she became 21. It is not known exactly how they met Henry or fell in love but soon Jane Thompson became pregnant. In the early 1800’s this could not have been an easy lot for any of the three people involved in this love triangle.
When Henry and Susannah moved, Jane followed their path. Henry had the means to support both families. Over the years he purchased more than 1000 acres of land in Fayette County (now Raleigh), Summers, and Mercer .
Henry and Susannah remained married and continued to have children. But at the same time, over the next 8 years Jane gave birth to another 3 children. Each of her children carried her last name of Thompson, and not the name of her only love.
In 1833 Susannah left Henry. They were separated but never divorced. Susannah had at least 10 children by then. Some records have 12 children by their marriage. On June 28,1846 Susannah died at the age of 56.
In October of that year Henry took Jane Thompson to be his wife. Together they had given birth to 6 children over a 24 year history of loving each other. There were no more children born to this union since Henry was 55 and Jane was 47 years old.
In the 1850 census the youngest two children were still living at home. By the time the 1860 census was taken Henry and Jane were growing old together.
Henry died in 1868 and was buried in the Brammer Cemetery at Odd, West Virginia. Three of Jane and Henry’s children died before them. Jane lived in Raleigh County West Virginia for another 12 years as a widow until her death on October 16, 1880.

Mary Vienna Barker Lilly memorial
I don't believe this type of thing should be on Find a Grave. You should at least know the cemetery! This is nothing more that a census record. Please don't misuse Find a Grave ... it's an important site.

John Clarence Bradberry
Hi, Thanks for all you are doing on this site. ai have a question about the John William Bradberry family. Spouse Frances Ola Barker and children. I forgot to copy his number for you. You have a child named John C Bradberry 7 Nov 1902 then a set of twins same time. Here is a memorial# 107814288 for John C Bradberry is this the sme person? Here is a copy of his birth record and even though his mother's name is Farioni I think it is Fannie. The difference is that he was born on the 27 Nov 1902 not 7 Nov 1902 like you have the set of twins. Something is wrong here. Mother couldn't have had all 3 babies that close or he had 3 and 2 died but the date would be the 27th if so or birth record is wrong which happens. Let me know if you have further proof on the children. 1910 census says mother had 6 children with 6 living then and that include John Clarence 1902. Appreciate your help. Hope this makes sense.

Duplicate memorial for Judith Brown
You made 2 memorials for the same person. Judith Brown memorial 25641999 should be deleted. This memorial page also has her birthdate listed incorrectly.

I believe the father on the death cert attached to her memorial is wrong. It has Golden Mullens as her father and it should be Everett Mullens. Golden is her brother. Her mother is Alice Woosley. I am not sure how they got the death cert wrong. Please look into.

Hello,
May I have your permission to use the picture you uploaded to his memorial on my family tree? If I come across any other pictures on memorials of yours that I am related to, may I also use them on my tree? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bev Vera
