Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began researching my family tree in 2008, and have since become obsessed with the search. Find A Grave has given me many details I could not have gotten elsewhere. I have tried to return the favor by not only taking pictures of my family's grave sites and posting them, but also, many grave sites from cemeteries in and around the Fayette County, PA. area. The family names I am researching are Provance & May from the Dunbar vicinity, and Turner & Lee from the Ohiopyle area, both located in Fayette County, PA.

I also work with the Fayette County Genealogy Project by inputting all the obituary and marriage records. You may want to visit the site. It could be helpful in your research. Link is shown below. Volunteers are always needed, especially those who are willing to type obituaries. Contact me if you would like to assist.

I was in Franklin Cemetery looking for my relatives & unearthed Jacob Miller & took a picture. I see you have one already but mine looks clearer. If you agree could you remove yours or let me know & I will gladly take mine back off.

Thanks for all your doing for the genealogy community. I also take pictures at all cemeteries I am in, especially the military ones.

RE: Saint Joseph's Cemetery
They won't let me delete the first photo. The headings are messed up because the St. Joseph's old has the interments for the new one. The new one has only 12 listed. I really don't know what is going on. This seems to be recent because there wasn't a problem before.

Old St. Joseph's Cemetery

I tried leaving them an e-mail and am having a problem getting through. They say that I'm not registered. I will try later.

I didn't set that one up. The one I did is called Old St. Joseph's Cemetery. I wonder what happened. I'll contact FindAGrave and see what they can do about it.

RE: Saint Joseph's Cemetery

The ones listed in St. Joseph's Old were found in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, where St. Joseph's was before the new cemetery. Also on death certificates some list St. Joseph's (old) as the cemetery. Hope that clears things up a bit.

Thanks very much for the transfer.
I have spent the afternoon sorting her out. She is now linked to her husband, and I've put links in for all their children to be linked to them. I've been able to note in the bio who her parents were.

I have a question about the above memorial for a Mary Watson. You have her linked to Martha Watson as her mother. As far as I know, Martha only had one daughter named Mary. That Mary married Ezekiel Perry.

This Mary has a photo of her stone and it says she is the consort of James Watson. So she is definitely not the Mary that married Ezekiel Perry.

Unless you have some documentation that says otherwise, I don't think this woman was Martha Watson's daughter that she is linked to.

Any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Kindest Regards,
Alana Morgan
