"...Descendants of the 3 immigrant Mennonite
Reiff Brothers, pg.13, says he was buried "in family cemetery on his farm which was part of the 197 acres patented to Hans Lehman, his wife's grandfather, cemetery became overgrown with vegetation and has since been obliterated; gravestones of Joseph and Maria moved to New Danville Mennonite Cemetery." RE: Susanna Nolt Martin # 86538150
Your entry says Susanna was buried with two infant children. The cemetery record shows Henrich Martin in Row 9 plot 92. He is followed by John Martin (9-93), Anna Martin (9-94) and then Susanna in 9-95. There is a note after Anna that says "children of George and Susanna Nolt Martin. I assumed that was all three children but Henrich cannot be her child because he was born after she died.
The dates you have for Susanna match with the cemetery record. I have removed the parents from Henrich. I don't know who he was.

Carol Jean Ashmen
Good morning. That has to be the fastest edit I have ever experienced. Because of the nature of Carol's death I don't want to add her obit. It does say she is the widow of Joseph L Harlacker and the wife of Richard Ashmen. She died at her home in Baldwin MD. Her parents are listed as Jean F Swartz and the late Richard Cunning and step father Joseph Snyder.
If you would like to see it you can email me at
Thank you for your time.

John Johnson Family
Tom, thank you so much for all the headstone information. I see that you have added information and pictures for John Johnson # 87238829, his siblings and parents, and his wife Susan Huber and their children. My research has shown that his first wife, Sarah Pickel, died young, probably in child birth. They had 2 children, Margaret P Johnson Rankin (# 86413901) and Jacob Johnson (1878-1880). The Gerberich Collection records show Sarah (w of John) and Jacob (s of John & Sarah) as buried in the Old Brick mennonite Church, Willow Street, PA. I'm pretty sure this is the Willow Street Mennonite Church Cemetery because the Gerberich record also lists J. Elwood Johnson (s of John & Katie W) as buried in the same cemetery and his grave is in the Willow Street Mennonite cemetery (# 115376588).
Would it be possible for you to see if Sarah Pickel Johnson (1851-1878) and Jacob Johnson (1878-1880) are in that same cemetery?
Thank you for your time.

Weitzel family edits
Please accept my sincere thanks for the quick action on the numerous Weitzel family edits and connections that I've sent in recent days. More importantly, thank you for "finding" these graves and photographing the headstones. You enabled me to link together branches of my son-in-law's family and make it easier to find and follow his tree. Like others in this forum, your volunteer work has been a great and valuable service to those of us who do not live in that area. Thanks again!
