Ester Steinberg Mandel
Dear David:

Ester Steinberg Mandel was my paternal great-grandmother.

I have pictures of the headstone for Aron Mandel, her husband and my paternal great-grandfather from a visit to Baron Hirsch a number of years ago.

I have the death certificate for Ester but I had never been able to find where she is buried.

Thank you very much for posting this. It is unlikely that I will be able to return to Staten Island any time soon.

Bessie Waller
David - are you related to Bessie? I see you posted pictures & a short bio of her. If so, I'd love to get in touch, she's actually my Great-Great Aunt!

Hope to hear from you!

Baron Hirsch Cemetery
Hi David, Do you know if it would be possible for someone to take a better picture of a cemetery stone in Baron Hirsch Cemetery, Staten Island? I tried to send a msg to FOIA but their messages are disabled. Or can you direct me to another person to contact? Thank you! Denise

William Newcomer
Hi David, Looking for some help in determining if William Newcomer, b. 1816, MD and buried in Silver Creek was ever in Missouri.

I believe he might be the father of Martin Dallas Newcomer who is my wife's G-grandfather. He settled in the Bedison, Nodaway Co., MO area. There was a William Newcomer who married a Sarah Rodenizer and had several kids in a second marriage for both of them. They lived in NE Nodaway Co., MO.

Having trouble tying this William with Martin and the second generation kids he and Sarah had. I believe some of the kids names were, Emma, Arbella and Elmer Newcomer. I believe William's second wife, Sarah, is buried at Swinford Cem., near Bedison, MO. I'm thinking William might have returne to Ogle Co., and later died and was buried next to his first wife.

Was hoping you might have run across this info while doing genealogy research. Thanks for any help.

RE: Sherwood Park Cemetery
Yes, please ask Findagrave to remove the one in Mount Vernon. We don't need to of the same cemeteries.

Sherwood Park Cemetery
Question: Did you enter the site for Sherwood Park Cemetery? If so, if I supply you with the address can you include it in their main page.

Hi -- my great uncle - Philip Goldberg is buried in Sherwood Park. He supposedly was killed at age 15 by fireworks in Yonkers, NY. I have never been able to get into this cemetery and was wondering if you could confirm this with a picture. Thanks
