We live in Central NH. Our family (and friends) graves are located primarily all over New England and we're trying to locate as many as we can in an effort to complete family history and to honor their respective memories.|
We are especially interested in the families whose ancestors were citizens of Durham, Maine. Many thanks to all the contributors who have helped us locate photos and link family members inside the memorials.
That search fostered another into the Kenneson branch of the family, with roots in Aroostook County, Maine. Happily, FAG was the vehicle for meeting a family cousin and fellow contributor, Geno42, who has very generously shared volumes of family history and some delightful photos.
Along the way, whenever we visit a cemetery for any reason, we try to take pictures and add to the memorials in the collective data base.

The memorial to this man, on which you placed a flower stating he was a Civl War veteran, was recently transferred to us. Would you send us this man's service information? We were unable to confirm his service, and would very much like to do so.
His Find A Grave Memorial#: 23646436

I am hoping that if you visit the Center Conway Cemetery you can look for a grave for Jeremiah Farrington (1746-?). I see that you posted a memorial for Jeremiah Farrington 1794-1844. Ancestry lists a Revolutionary Patriot of that name as buried there. He was married to my 6th great Aunt, Abigail Swan 1758-? Thanks so much for being a Find a Grave contributer.

Leroy is my 2nd great uncle. If you are not a family member of his would you mind transferring his memorial and families?
Also, do you know why he spelled his name "Embelton" and not "Embleton" like his brothers and sisters?
Thank you in advance for all you do here on find a grave:)

Surname is incorrect. Should be Bowen instead of Brown. Thank you.

You are very welcome.
|Judy Wilson||RE: Ashnault|
Thanks, will keep that in mind. Since many of the Ashnault entries were done by you I thought perhaps you had a connecton. Thanks for putting them out there and I am making links and adding photos where I can.

Both were good friends and I just saw their daughter Susan, in Rhinebeck NY at American Legion fundraiser.
