|Vicki Hall||Brown family update|
My mother is Sandra Brown Williams, granddaughter of William Henry Brown and Mabel Starkey Brown. My mother, Sandra is your 2nd cousin. I noticed that my grandfather, Samuel Howard brown was omitted from William's bio. Howard and Herbert were both children. Herbert is listed and has a page but my grandfather does not. How can I rectify this? Thanks so much for doing this. My mother has many of the photos you have posted.
|Shannon Yarbrough||Charles Fleming Sanford|
My name is Shannon Yarbrough. I am a great grandson of Joseph (Papa Sanford) and (Mama Sanford) Eliza Mae Leary) Sanford. My maternal grandfather was Harry Edward Sanford who was one of Joseph and Eliza Mae's sons. I will be updating our side of the Sanfords. By the way, my mother Sammye Sanford (daughter to Harry and Nita Sanford, really favors Rubie Mae. Thank you for all of your updates. Shannon Yarbrough.
|Jane Clancy Debenport||Margaret S. Langston Starkey|
Mike, thank you very much for your gift of time and energy that resulted in all of your postings for findagrave! I am working on the Starkey line for a friend. Do you know where the "Langston" name came from for Margaret S. Langston Starkey? My friend's mother thinks that Margaret was a Smith - and that Langston was a step-father. I have gotten nowhere in my research on that. So - this is rather a Hail Mary attempt for information. If you can point me any direction - I would surely appreciate it! Jane C. Debenport

You include photographs of one of my wife's great-grandmothers on your Find A Grave Memorial (# 52525368). We have no pictures of her, at all, and are hoping you may consider granting permission for us to post them to her entry in our family tree on Ancestry.com? Of course we would cite their origin and list credit to you. Please advise.

I am working on ancestry and found your picture of George W and Clarissa on Find A Grave, would love to use it on my tree on Ancestry.com. Awaiting permission.
Thank you in advance.

|Judy Mannenbach||Payne Family|
I was seaching for a Graham Lewis Payne and I found the Payne family members whose memorials you manage. I submitted some links based on the information in the memorials.
I was actually looking for a Graham Lewis Payne who lived in Bellerose, New York. Do you know anything about him?
|Jenean Hamilton||Shirley Cemetery|
Yes, I have connections to the Shirley family. William J. Shirley, who married Margaret Slemmons would be a 1st cousin 4 times removed. His mother, Mary Ann Harbison Shirley (wife of Elijah) is the daughter of Moses Harbison and Anne Barlow Harbison, my 4th great-grandparents. I am descended from Mary Ann's brother, Adam B. Harbison and Hannah Rhea.
I have transferred John and Nancy. Good luck and nice to meet you. Jenean
|Lee Hawkins||John William Slemmons|
My name is Lee Hawkins. I am a great-granddaughter of Lewis Crenshaw Slemmons (John's brother). The LC branch of the Slemmons family has an annual family reunion and are always interested in connecting with more of the Slemmons family. We have a pretty extensive geneology but just now found you! (Isn't Internet wonderful!). Would you like to join us at our reunion this summer? It is being held in Branson MO July 20. If you would like details, send me an e-mail. It would be great to hear from you! Also, we have a small Slemmons family FB page if you would like to join that group we would welcome you!
