Edward Averill
William A. Averill
Mr. Jones,

You published a gravesite for my parents, William A. and Nancy L. Averill, buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA. Your information for my father is incorrect. His full name was William Archer Averill. He was born in Berwick, Columnbia County, Pennsylvania. Please correct the information.

Thank you!

I agree with you, Don...
on the 8 month old newbie "West Branch Girl"---

Here's my second note to Find A administrator, Jenna:

Good morning Jenna, Your 'blood hound Willie Dee' made me remove 200 of my German (some cemeteries have been bull dozed over) and family Bible note entries, that connect US families - back in January and February of this year because "cemeteries were Unknown; or no cemetery record had been found". Now you have changed your mind?

I am not re-adding 200 families.

The memorial creator of our Heinrich Oehmke, took information off of the son's memorial that I added and made it his own page without being related and without a known cemetery name. This fella has added over 160 "unknown cemeteries". He needs to be educated, is all I asked of you!

Also, check out this 8 month old newbie - they have created over 350 "unknown cemeteries" They also need to be educated!

For our direct Seifferlein (my Mom's Maiden name) -

Here's what a fella Find A Grave'er had to say about their "West Branch Girl's" wrong-doings!
"Don Jones
Duplicate memorials and mistakes
I have sent you multiple messages about incorrect information and numerous duplications of your memorials with no response. Over 350 of your memorials are listed as either 'Burial unknown' or 'Cremated, location of ashes unknown'. Copying an obituary out of the paper without doing any research is not helping genealogist and shows disrespect for the deceased. Please delete your duplications and do some simple research before creating a memorial."

Hello Wendy ,

Thank you for contacting Find A Grave in regards to burial unknown memorials.

While we prefer that every memorial page has a burial location we do understand that there are situations where this may not be possible. To prevent the loss of valuable information we no longer delete memorials created in this fashion.

Please note that we do ask that the creation of these pages be kept to a minimum, and that the information be updated should a manager come across the information in their research.

If you see a page that has been created with the location of Burial Unknown, and you know the location, please send this information, and your documentation, to the memorial manager using the fifth option: Suggest any other correction or addition (SAC). If the member is unresponsive within 30 days you may forward this request, and your documentation, to us at for further review.

If you are asked to delete memorials and do not feel the request is valid, please forward the request to and we will review the memorials and take action according to site policy.

If you need additional assistance, please feel free to reply to this message.

(Jenna will not do anything I predict!)
