Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family history exploration for me begins with Ottawa Co, Kansas, but of course led across the country. An inheritor of several generations of newspaper clippings, I started transcribing obits from microfilm beginning at the 1879 start of the paper and realized the value of reading them all in understanding my family's history in the region. A sort of 'community-based genealogy' habit grew and expanded, as did an interest in cemetery preservation and recording.

Living now in a rural Kentucky county, our local history goal is to locate the old family cemeteries up in the hills, photograph and record. Most are hidden and overgrown; some remarkably well looked after by landowners whether related or not. And several are out there yet to be found...

Am happy to transfer your relatives and happy to help in the hunt for them.

Thank you
Kate,

Just wanted to say out loud that I really appreciate your transfer of the memorials for my 4th great-grandfather Stephen Titus and his son William Titus. Both are buried in Dotson Cemetery, Fountain Co., IN. Your work is greatly appreciated!

Ok. I found an antique picture of her and I am trying to locate family to see if they want the picture. I will keep searching.

Take Care!

Hello,

I left a message for you on ancestry and thought I leave a message for you here as well. Are you related to Mary Goodall Halstead?

RE: Robert Louis Anderson in OLOGH
If you review the entry, it is recorded as Robert, but the obit posted is listed as Ronald. The family called him Ronnie. He is 1st cousin to my mother and we all grew up together. The kids, were even though 2 of his sons are named Ronald and Donald, they all went by Lil Ronnie, Connie, Bonnie and Donnie. I do not have any birth records, but several other legal documents (succession)if further proof is needed.

They chose not to spend the money to add his name to the marble plate on the tomb. He was buried with his parents Evelyn and Jack. My photo of the tomb is a close up of the military markers for Jack and Evelyn. Next trip down I will take another one that shows the entire grave and add it. I stumbled onto this when reviewing the site for photo request and entries without photos.

I appreciate your efforts to ensure my request is valid.
