My Family names: Harris, Croft/Crofts, Lowe, England.

I believe that memorials on this website should be established to aid family members in paying tribute to their relatives and to aid in genealogical research. At no time will I ever deny transferring a memorial to a family member to "keep my numbers from being lowered". If you are in the FAG guidelines, I will transfer.
Please state how you are related with all transfer requests.Along with your FAG ID #.I will also transfer out side of FAG guidelines as long as activliy putting on memorials but if it appears you are only collecting family #'s then i reserve the right to refuss.
I love doing this and my sister-in-law and I can do a grave yard in record time...We do a lot of our photographing of cemeteries together. And as she puts it we are like locusts. We hit a cemetery and eat it up.
I love to get all information from anyone to make the memorial better so please feel free to contact me with any suggestions. Except if you do not have an E-mail, or do not let people comment on your profile or give any way for me to contact you back then please do not make suggestions. I say this because if I have a question about the information I need some way to contact you. I will not blindly put on something that I have concerns about.
******Please use Edit tab on upper right hand side of memorial for all transfer request and all corrections. This makes it so much easier for me. PLEASE DO NOT add the info in the "Leave Flowers & a Note" section, this looks tacky. This should be used for love & sympathy notes not bio. Use the "edit" tab and I will gladly add your information in the memorial. ******

I can not thank you enough for your kindness and the transfers. And for listening to my redundant stories! Your generosity is greatly appreciated. C.

|Mary Hicks||William Russell Hicks|
Hello! I don't know how I could have missed your message, but some how I did. Thanks for writing to me. Yes, William Russell Hicks is a family member. My husband descends from William Hicks and Elizabeth Dunnaway. This couple had 10 children, and William Russell Hicks was their grandson, through his father Lanse/Lancin Hicks. My husband descends from William and Elizabeth through their son, James D. Hicks, who was a brother of Lanse/Lancin. James D. Hicks married Sarah E. Wright. My husband descends from James and Sarah through their son William McClain Hicks who married Mary Maude Lebow. So, William Russell Hicks was a cousin of William McClain Hicks. The major difference that distinguishes these 2 men is that of the 10 children of William Hicks and Elizabeth Dunnaway half were either deaf or hearing/speech impaired. Lanse/Lancin was deaf, and married in spite of this handicap, which was uncommon in this Hicks family. My husband's ancestor, James D. Hicks was one of the hearing children. So, yes, my husband is a cousin of, and related to, William Russell Hicks through 2 brothers, who were sons of William (deaf) Hicks and his wife Elizabeth Dunnaway (hearing).
Warmest Regards, Sorry for the delay in answering your message,
Mary (Mitchell) Hicks (wife of Thomas L. Hicks, who was a grandson of William McClain Hicks)
|Tommie Moser Nichols||RE: Saint Paul|
Thank you so very much! I have had to lay Saint Paul aside as several things have come up all at one time. I will be returning shortly, see what needs to be done, and let you know if I need some help. I primarily would like to care for the Mosers, Brakebills, Blankenships, and Summitts.
Thank you again! Tommie
|Barbara Howard||Herman Princing.|
The reason I asked if you were still active, a friend of mine and I haave been trying to contact you for several months and we didn't get a response.
You have Herman in the wrong cemetery. He should be in the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, not the one on Lyons Pike. My friend has viewed and photographed his and his wife's headstones and also has plot numbers. I wondered if you would change yours? Thank you for responding.

|Brucene Stulen Seal||James R Allen|
Hi Teresa its been a while since we communicated. I received a question on James Allen. I have him listed on 43886765 in Big Creek and you posted a pic of his headstone. You also added him in Fort Sumter in Knoxville and posted a headstone picture #92266047, I know it was all done a while ago and wondered if you remembered where you took the picture? Thanks and hope you are doing well. Love the pics of you grandkids on FB
|Tommie Moser Nichols||Old Saint Paul Cemetery|
Teresa, I am willing to relent and support two separate St Paul Findagrave Cemeteries to be active and to let peace exist.
I promise not to delete your memorials in the Old Saint Paul Cemetery, if you will allow me to maintain my family's, the ones I placed in Saint Paul in the 2009, which Find A Grave plans to move to Old Saint Paul. I simply want to honor my ancestry and that of Harless Brakebill. Doing Find A Grave memorials is similar to "walking on the land your ancestors walked on". As soon as I and/or Find A Grave transfer the family links and bios, I will delete my original memorials created in the St Paul Cemetery that yours are duplicates of as well as any others that are duplicates. I hope you will agree to this compromise.
Can we please put this behind us?"
Sincerely, Tommie Moser Nichols
|BLESSING||Old and New St Paul|
Teresa, I never heard back from you other than the one message saying yes were still active.
I don't know if there was an "Old St Paul" Cemetery on Findagrave at the time Tommie created the original memorials in the St Paul Cemetery. I agree having them separate is a good idea, but creating duplicate memorials has caused some confusion.
I contacted A.J. Marik and he said I should send the information to firstname.lastname@example.org, that they should be able to merge them. So on Feb 8th I sent them a message with I believe a list of 130 memorials. I don't know if I missed any or not.
Hopefully they will be able to resolve this issue without any hurt feelings. I know everyone had good intentions.

I continue to receive messages with people confused about the double listing of memorials in "St. Paul" and "Old St. Paul". Most buried there are my relatives, especially in the older part. We need to come to a compromise with only one listing for one person. Ideas? Tommie Moser Nichols
|Earleen Sides||Kenneth Wayne Noe|
I am searching for descendants of Ezekiel Noe, who had a sister named Hannah Noe Thompson. At one time they both lived on Thompson Creek Road in Hamblen County, TN with their families. I believe Kenneth Wayne Noe is one of his descendants and I would really like to talk with someone in the family. I am a descendant of Hannah Noe Thompson, and I can be reached at EarleenSides@gmail.com. or 205-305-6504. His Find A Grave information is really detailed, and I am hoping you might put me in touch with one of his descendants. Thanks!!
