Bio Photo Hello - We got the Genealogy BUG in 1977 - been at IT ever since. Just found Findagrave (2009)- LOVE it. Has given me answers as well as created questions. Bill was working on Southern Varner's & all their connections from PA & NC. He passed away November 2015. Bobbye with some cousins has been working on all 13 children of Jacob Shadrach Champion, who died in 1832 in SC. As well as Robert Taliaferro & Thomas Boulware lines of VA. Thanks to all the Findagrave people who have helped us and drop a line if we can help you.

May 2016 - Received some edits earlier and some how they were removed. If I didn't get to your edit would you please send it again? Thanks, Bobbye

RE: Amanda/Keith W. Rocek
Hi Bobbye,
It looks like Amanda is buried up in the Twin Cities. That's about an hour and half from me. I'll see what I can do about getting a picture. Otherwise put a request on the cemetery page and someone may be able to help you out.

Irene Edna Blum
Hello Bobbye,

Your best chance of getting the original Irene Blum memorial page transferred to the Fairview Cemetery would be to contact them via the following email address:

You should let them know that there are two memorial pages for her, the original one created by Kent Schneider for the Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A second memorial page was created for her by Couple of Gravers, after her gravestone was photographed in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Then you could suggest that they move the original page to Fairview Cemetery, and delete the second memorial page currently in Fairview Cemetery.

My page should be deleted, but I'm hesitant to do that as long as the original memorial page is in the wrong cemetery.

I wish you luck with your efforts to correct this situation. Thank you for your efforts.

Couple of Gravers
Irene Edna Blum
Hello Bobbye,

I have photographed many stones in both Fairview and Greenwood cemeteries, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The earlier memorial page, that I was unaware of, was created by Kent Schneider. He created many memorial pages from newspaper obituaries. I have created almost all of my memorial pages from photographed markers. Kent ran afoul of Find A Grave several years ago, and is no longer able to manage his own pages. Irene is definitely buried in Fairview Cemetery, and not in Greenwood Cemetery, but only Find A Grave administration is able to edit the original page.

Reviewing my photo files, I find that the Blum marker was taken on 10-1-2011, at 1234. The photos prior to and after are clearly at Fairview Cemetery, because of surrounding scenery visible in the photos of adjacent markers. I did not photograph any markers in Greenwood Cemetery that day.

The only way to correct the cemetery listed on the Greenwood page is to contact Find A Grave administration to request that the page be moved. I will post a photo on the Greenwood page with a note that she is actually buried in Fairview Cemetery.

Thank you for letting me know about this. If the Find A Grave admin moves the page to Fairview Cemetery, I'll delete my page. Until then, I'll post a note that she also has a page listing her burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Thank you, Bobbye, sorry to know about your husband. I know the feeling, we lost Sue to Alzheimers one year ago last February. I will see if I can link these Dinglers. All the best,

No, the whole cemetery hasn't been photographed but most of it has. I will try to get over there and do the rest of the cemetery when weather is better and will try to do some research on the forester family. Some of the Foresters who lived in that area (Dillar and Lottie) are buried in Winston County at Winston Memorial, don't know if they are related to the ones you are researching.

RE: Martha Bailey Osborne's children
Hi, Bobbye, I hope the surgery goes well. I've updated my info on this family. I now have 10 children and you have 10 children. The difference is that I have an infant born & died 22 Feb 1919 that you don't have. You have a Dorothy Osborne that I don't have.

The 1930 census is the latest I've checked for this family, that's probably why I don't have Dorothy. The infant is buried at Oak Bower and is not the same as any of the other named children. My Billy and your William are probably the same. So there were probably 11 children in all.
