Dutch Chapel cemetery is very dear to me...I remember for most of my life going there with my mother to decorate graves. My family has alot of history here, with both family and friends. It is an honor for me to take photos and update the graves here for generations to come. If I have entered a gravesite and you have information to be added to the bio, please contact me and I will be glad to update information. Thanks a bunch! |

Through my 2Grt-grandpa Joe's brother, James, who married Adella Cunningham and their daughter was "Aunt" June Neunfeldt. Joe had nine siblings and two children. James had four children. Della is the granddaughter of Barnet through his son, Hugh.
I worked on all of my 2Grt-grandpa's siblings and their families some time ago and have been studying the Cunninghams for a few months, now. Quite a big family!

Hi - I would have gotten that information from online marriage records and censuses. Let me know if there is some piece of information you are curious about - I could probably find it again. - Bob

Thank you for the wealth of information. All I had was a name, birth date and death place from a hand-written, handed-down family history. It was written by Barnet's Great-grand-daughter, June Lake Neuenfeldt.
I am reconciling all the info in June's journal in FamilySearch.org and adding sources. Some individuals are tough to figure out, so it is a blessing to run across your info and have it agree with hers. I am hoping to make some connections and possibly have some edits for you, but we will see.
If you are related to this Cunningham line I may need to compare notes with you from time to time.

Hello. I have sent you an edit. Thanks! http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=25056102
Charles Pownall at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Texas Co., MO. See MO online death certificate #38097 listed as Charles A. Powell. His father was Joseph P. Pownall # 11070499 and his mother was Sarah Boise ## 11070504. The parents are listed wrong on this memorial.

|TR Shelby||Emily Baker Shelby - correction|
Thomas Rogers Shelby was the grandson, not son, of Emily and Jonathan. Tom's dad was Jesse Ivan Shelby

Emily is my 2nd great grandmother
I would like to know where you came across her photo, and if you have any photos of her and Jonathan's children.
And, if you have time, another mystery. Not to far from Jonathan's and Emily's grave is a grave for Thomas Rogers. One of Emily's son was named Thomas Rogers Shelby. I am Thomas Rogers Shelby III. Would you have any reason to believe that this Thomas Rogers ( a preacher I believe ) is my namesake ?
When I walked Dutch Chapel in 2010, I took only the photos of family members, I wish now I had photographed all of the graves as my daughter's fiancé's family is from Wright County (Crewse)
Thanks for your sharing
This is just an FYI. This lady, Violet Mings, passed away in May of 2015 and another memorial site has been created under her second marriage name of Violet Austin. They are the same woman as they have the same birth date.
Thank you for posting the grave marker photo of my great grandfather Squire Goldsmith. I have came across many dead ends while searching for him and his wife Mary Ann Osborn.
