Bio and Links
Bio Photo It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 9 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. I do not link to unknown burials (please read Find A Graves rules for unknown burials) Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days.
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!

For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings

PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOGRAPHS on any site that you have to pay to get into the site. I took the photographs for the entire world to use for free!
I spent my time photographing, editing & entering them for their family so they might see what they look like now. I did not take them for someone that does not care about them one bit except to make a profit! Richard Glenn Meador

I am a serious researcher and have collected inormation about my family directly from my family and corroborated facts with records found at the Mormon church's Family history library. I would like to ask you to reconsider my requests for tranference of memorials for my family members.

I believe this woman may be the younger sister of my 3rd great grandfather Christopher Griffith. We are trying to find out who their mother was. We have tried to locate her name, but no luck. Any info you could give on that or on Charity would be greatly appreciated.

Paul Roberts
Memorial #32807616
My name is Paul Roberts. I am the great-great grandchild of Henry Sweeden (Memorial #10159360) who is listed as the father of the above memorial's subject, Mac Henry Sweeten.
I question the accuracy of this individual being a son of Henry Sweeden. I base this on considerable research I have done on the Sweeden family tree. When I first saw the connection, I assumed the grave marker was perhaps miss-spelled. The age difference at birth shows to be 18 years, which makes it a possibility; however not likely. As to the misspelling I note that Mac Henry's spouse and their children continued to use their name as Sweeten.
My question is then...."if you created this memorial, can you verify the information you used to make the father/son relationship of these two individuals with similar, yet different, names. I would be very interested in learning of a true connection. You can contact me at prob01@aol.com if needed. Thank you.

RE: Galloway or Callaway
Awesome! Thank you so much. Shall I let you know if I learn anything? I just looked at an Emma with her parents & siblings in Coryell Co, TX, in the 1880 census ... the surname spelled Gulloway. I am looking in the 1870 Census for Texas now, but will try that contact first. Thank you for your help. Best wishes.

sincerely,
Elise

Emma Meador Bowden
Greetings! I can't tell you how happy I was to finally find her. Now I'm wondering how she ended up in Hawaii? I found a grandson that is a WWII veteran and I'm guessing he was stationed there and either (1) she moved there to be near him; (2) he had moved her there where he could help her out; or (3) she was visiting at the time of her death. I am about to look for her Death Certificate and Obit, to see what they can tell me. Do you know anything about her 2nd husband? Is he buried in Shelby Co, TX? Was Emma's maiden name Calloway or Galloway? I linked 3 sons (AA, WM, & TO) from Emma's 1st husband to her, but she had a 4th child with John A. Meador, can you tell me who that was? I hope I am not overwhelming you with questions. I sure appreciate your time, attention and assistance. Thank you in advance.
