Hi there! Thanks SO much for the information on my mom's half-brother (Michael Thomas Burke). My dad was a great genealogist, but he hit a wall when it came to Michael's mother, Lula May Johnson. With your great leads and about six more hours of research, I created a memorial for her and for Fred and linked them to their relatives. The memorial numbers are 174695994 and 174696800 if you'd like to take a look. Thanks again, and Happy New Year!

Greetings:

Thanks for your interest in his memorial.

Many errors are occurring on memorials due to inaccurate "Edits." Please provide a primary source (such a book, will, obituary, birth/marriage/death certificate, or family Bible record) for any changes on these memorials. Linking or changing a memorial will be done only when a verifiable primary source is provided.

I need your help by providing a primary source (not on-line trees) for these changes!

Thanks,

RE: Samuel L. McBrayer
I had a lot of pictures from last summer in the area he was in that I had not gotten added to Find A Grave yet and Samuel happened to be one of them.
You're welcome.

Lebanon Cemetery, Geeville, MS?
I found it! Only after I wrote you an extensive note, I see! We never stop learning. I have never heard of this Prentiss County Lebanon until I was looking at the Morris families! I am familiar with Geeville and now have a good reason to go there!
This reaffirms my confidence that my cousin, Sue Moore Hardy is very careful of her research and information. Thank you again for your work on extended family members. Shirley (Cartwright/Rogers) McKenzie.

Lebanon Cemetery, Geeville, MS?
Dear Mr Brasfield, I am connected to the Morris family through Mary Jane Morris, dau. of Benjamin and Matilda (Leigh/Lee) Morris of Tippah County, MS. She married one of my Cartwright relatives and I have been interested in the general family.
A large number of the Morris family is buried at the subject cemetery. My question is this:
Is this Lebanon Cemetery actually in Geeville, Prentiss County? I know there is one in the edge of Tippah in the Lebanon Church community (there is a cemetery connected to the church). Knowing the families lived in the Lebanon community in Tippah (that is where they were living in 1880) I wondered if the address was correct?
The postings were done originally by my cousin, Sue Moore Hardy and she is a very experienced and capable researcher, so when I saw her name, I leaned toward her accuracy. But it seems a coincidence about the information I outlined above and Lebanon is a fairly common cemetery name.
Thank you in advance. Shirley (Cartwright/Rogers) McKenzie.

Transfer
I have transferred Georgius and his wife. You might note that I created the memorial in the correct cemetery, not knowing another had created Georgius' memorial a few days earlier with the designation, "unknown" - I usually let a contributor know what cemetery they are in, but findagrave has always deleted the unknown ones and accepted the ones in the correct burial ground. I now see the memorial has been moved from "unknown" to the burial ground in which I found him. Findagrave can detect when that move was done; in the future, they may be merged, but the one I sent you should be the surviving one.
Cheers~ Shirleen

Gerogius
Hi - you sent me an edit on Georgius Thomas Brasfield....but I think you might have spelled his first given name wrong - if you would like a transfer of him & his wife, be happy to do that and then you can fix and link them as you wish. Let me know...Cheers, Shirleen
