RE: Josephine Creasman
John: You are certainly welcome. Aunt Jo died from Alzheimers, as did my Mom. She was always very nice to me. She was very petite > probably didn't clear 5'. Always remember her being so kind. I am rebuilding my family trees, too, before time runs out. I have a lot of relatives up near Bunsville and look forward to discovering my roots, too. Good luck to you in your pursuits. Bruce will be glad to hear from you. He is a bachelor and I am sure your call will make his day.

RE: Josephine Creasman
Hi John:

Aunt Jo had a son, Bruce Creasman, who is 70 and lives in Black Mountain @ 828-669-6136. There was also a daughter, Linda, who is deceased. Bruce and I are first cousins by marriage. Aunt Jo married my Mother's brother, Francis Blankenship, after WW II. Her first husband was killed in an accident at Beacon Blankets Mill in Swannanoa.

Hope this helps. When you call Bruce tell him cousin Gerry gave you this information. I am sure Bruce will be glad to hear from you.

Hey John, I appreciate your posting the great memorial photos, but I have a small favor to ask...could you please delete them, crop off the white edges/background and then repost them? That way they will meet Find a Grave criteria and be easier to view.

RE: James Albert Allison
Yes, I have more information but unfortunately I can only add that he was born in Oklahoma, and his mother's maiden name was Maxon. I do not know the first names of his parents. Perhaps you can find him on the 1920 or 1930 census. It might be easier now that you know where he was born. There's no guarantee of course that you will find him with his family in Oklahoma, as the family could have moved to another state, but you can give it a try. Good luck!

Alexander Kelly
Hi John,

Welcome to Find A Grave! Thank you for the additional information about Alexander's daughter. I have posted it. Do you know anything else about Alexander? I have posted what I could find.

I would be happy to transfer his memorial to you. This would allow you to edit the information and make any links to his family. If you are interested in a transfer, please use the edit tab above the photograph on his memorial. Then click 'Suggest a correction...' and ask for the transfer. Find A Grave will send me an email giving me Alexander's memorial number and your member number. It will take me about 15 seconds to make the transfer.

Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to help you with.
