Use the edit tab directly on the memorial for all requests (including transfers and document support for all changes/additions). The 'suggest other' can also be used for obituary additions!|
I check ALL requests since 'pure excitement' is blinding. Please don't take it personally if a request is denied - I probably couldn't find supporting documentation on my own. If you disagree, resubmit with links or other methods I can verify or contact via email.
Family trees are not documents; they are great hints.
Photos by MN Headstone Hunter are welcomed for personal use (NOT FOR REPRODUCTION ON THIS OR OTHER WEBSITES). Please email for photo credit line. (stones are generally photo'd as found)
Enjoy the anthology and remember

MEMORIAL DAY PHOTOS - Out and about again, please email to see where or if I can make it to a certain cemetery for a photo request that has been long overdue and has not had problems reported. For veterans if you'd like a better pic, check to see where I'll be and I can clean/flag the grave for the pic.

Thank you for looking for Herman'a headstone. I have removed it from my list for photos of a headstone.
|Evie (Greer) Schipper||Thank you.|
Thank you very much for the very nice headstone and photos and family monument photos for James H and Sarah Jane (Hays) Ferrell's memorials. Thank you also for creating and transferring Joseph C Tomlinson's memorial to me.

The obit is part of a personal collection started by Josephine Marvan (see bohemian cemt.) The records that she collected have been passed down to her grandson, my neighborm who has lent them to me to add to memorials. Mrs. Marvan was part of the same church as Frances. They knew each other.

Thanks so much for all your work on this site and connecting so many to their loved ones.
Again, so kind that you transferred Eugene Wesley Hall to me and his family. Enjoy the wild bird songs of spring, Julie
|Jane Marie Morrison||Henry George Welling|
I said he was buried in Iowa with his second wife. I'm sorry. I'm in overload trying to get this family's obituaries and get them all linked together. Henry is buried in Minnesota with his second wife.
Ruby H (nee Weast) Welling died February 11, 1920 in Dubuque with pneumonia. The obituary did not say WHICH cemetery she is buried in, although her parents lived in Cottonwood, Minnesota on the 1910 census. Ruby was born in Illinois. I don't have her actual date of birth. I'm guessing 1901 since that would make her 19 years old at the time of death.
Henry and Ruby were married on April 22, 1919 at Holy Ghost Catholic church in Dubuque, Iowa.

Here is Ruby's obituary. Her husband remarried and is buried with his second wife in Iowa.
Dubuque Telegraph-Herald, IA, Wednesday, February 11, 1920, pg. 12, col. 2
