A friend mentioned this website and it sounded interesting. I have always had this fascination with cemeteries, particularly older ones. Growing up on a small farm in northern KY, there are 2 family cemeteries on the connecting land and I've often wondered about the people that lived there long before us.|
Many times, I will take photos of older graves eventhough a request has not been made. I'm hoping someday, someone will be searching for a missing relative and the photo will be there. I'm more than happy to transfer any of these.

Thank you so very much for your time spent in taking and posting the photo of their headstone for me. It is greatly appreciated.
|Jo Roth||Henry Emerson|
You posted a photo on memorial #78924455 for Henry Emerson, but it was the wrong Henry Emerson. There are two that died in 1904, so it's a bit confusing. The photo you took was for the guy in Sec. 16, Lot 177, not Sec. 28, Lot 29. Can you remove your photo from #78924455? Thanks so much for your help.

Just a quick note to thank you for your trouble in locating the grave of Ada Pugh.
Quite a number of my distant family are buried in Spring Grove, although I am not absolutely certain where Ada fits into the picture.
This branch of the family emigrated from Wales to the USA in the early 1840's. Find a Grave is so useful to family historians in the old country.
We owe a lot to people like yourself who give of their time so freely.
|Regina Laguzza||Jacob Mandrey|
Spring Grove Cemetery 1843-22 Sept 1883 He is not the father of Julia & Mary but maybe the brother. His parents are listed as Peter & Julia Mandrey on the burial card. Fred Vollmer is listed as ordering a Mary Mandrey burial she was 68 and died on 19 March 1888. Peter born 1819 died 17 Sept 1873 he was buried in Spring Grove 25 March 1885. Peter list his parents as Benjamin and Cath. Peter believed to be the brother of Jacob Mandrey 1817- 1874 I hope this helps.
