Because of health reasons, I will not be working on find a grave as often. Right now, I can not go to the cemeteries and take photos. That has been my main contribution to this site. Hopefully, in the future I may return to this hobby I love so much. I will still answer messages and handle the edits. Thank you!
Find A Grave rules
I enjoy walking through old country cemeteries so I have started photographing as I go.
I am human so if you find any mistakes please let me know.
Please use the EDIT button at the top of a memorial to send suggest a corrections and ask for transfers. I am happy to make links but I do not link to Burial Unknowns or duplicates.
Please ask permission to use any headstone or people photos for personal use.
Remember that anyone can post a photo to any memorial. Just because a photo is on one of my memorials does not mean that I took the photo and /or posted it. Please click on photo to see if there are any notes in the caption area.

Made it to the cemetery today. You were correct. Her info is on the back side of Samuels marker. Thank you so much.
It's been a delightful weather day to be out and about in cemetery's. Take care of your health! God bless.
Cemcreeper..thank u so much for your prompt reply!
I am close to the cemetery and will go there today to check the back side. A rain storm started yesterday and I had to leave and didn't look at the back side. Thank you again.

I was at the grave today. Marker is on the ground. Then when I went to "findagrave" there is a new looking marker posted as well as the one laying on the ground. How did that happen? I'm new at this and hope I have made myself clear. Thank you!

I am related by marriage (his wife is my husband's great-aunt). If you wouldn't mind transferring, that would be great! Thanks!

Thank you for creating his memorial! I sent you an edit for him and wanted to let you know that my source was his Social Security Applications and Claims Index.
|David A. Jones||Lssie Velt Phelps|
Lessie Velt Phelps is such an unusual name, but it occurs at least three times in the Phelps Family, all spelled the same way. Brother Benjamin Leslie is the Leslie in that family.
The Ohio Death Record has his name misspelled. That blew right by me, and I didn't pick up on it. Otherwise, I would have bracketed the correct spelling, beside of the incorrect spelling. See below.

Yes! I'll take ownership if you want to transfer him and any of his family to me. I'm doing a book on the Mills Family: 200 Years in Indiana.

You are absolutely correct. Don't know what I was thinking. Have spent the last week camped at my 95 yr old mother's hospital bedside, so my brain is fried.
Found Joseph and Mary's grave sites. They are buried at the same cemetery as their daughter. Mary's second husband is buried there, too, and they all have the same design of grave marker.
Joseph Kamp appears to have two memorials. The original has the name spelled incorrectly (Kemp). #76963903 & #114876266. Mary appears to be buried under the name of her 2nd husband Charles Borries. #114627712 (Charles #114627701). They married 21 Oct 1873. Joseph died in 1872. Her maiden name appears to be Pundsack although the spelling variations are numerous. That spelling was from her immigration document. She was 14. From Prussia.
Have sent an email to Find A Grave to merge the 2 memorials for Joseph.
