I try to fullfill any photo requests in the area that I live in, when the weather is nice. Any info or any photos I post can be copied and used for any free site or personal use. After I post a photo to a memorial I don't keep it long on my computer. If you see a memorial that you want management of please feel free to ask, I will transfer. Also when I am out picture taking I will always take photos of any Veteran's headstone and post it, and any unusual headstone I see.

I have found that if you are a volunteer photo taker you might want to have a few 'tools' with you; small rake or broom, gardening gloves, spray bottle with water, paper towels and a small bucket to carry it all in. If you are going to place flags or anything on a small pole it helps to have a screwdriver to make the hole so the stick doesn't break.

I am still learning to take better photos, so bear with me, if you see a photo I took and would like a better one posted please contact me and I will try.

RE: Lily Turner
That would be okay. Maybe someone more closely related to her might want to have it transferred to them eventually. There are quite a few family members.

Sorry to report she has no existing marker at the location provided by the cemetery office - Sec 5, Lot 75. I'll add a photo of her burial location.

RE: Maple Ridge Cemetery
I just finished photographing all of Maple Ridge but it will take a while to get all of the photos put on the memorials. I started North Maple Ridge last week. Nice to meet someone in the area who does Find A Grave.

RE: Sallie and James Sprinkles
Yes, that must be them. Their dates of death come from their death certificates. ..and their obituaries. So I believe the dates I have on the memorials are correct. It could be that the tombstones were erected years later and the family was confused as to the dates. Go ahead and add the photos. . .and then I will add some explanatory verbiage to their memorials about the discrepancies. Thank you for taking the photos. I was in Carmi two years ago for a meeting and had about an hour to visit the cemetery, but it was too large to walk to find their stones in that short window of time.
