Thank you for the updates on the memorials in Telluride.
|Jan Fenter||Abbie (Shumway) Starr, 174706967|
I left you the following Public Message on Sept. 1st, but have not heard back from. It looks like it was deleted:
"You sent me some EDITS for Abbie Starr. Are you a family member and if yes, what is your relationship?
I have found the Shumway family in census records, both for State of Minnesota and US Federal census, showing them in Anoka County, Minnesota.
Please provide any other source/sources that "specifically" show her birth place being in Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. Do you have an obituary, birth record, family bible, etc., that provides the specific birth place?"
Please answer my request for further information regarding Abbie's birth.
|Kristi King||Floyd Chrane Beard|
For Old History Buff: Thank you for posting Floyd's grave information. I am his great-niece and the family historian. In working on the family ancestry I have found that his middle name is his maternal grandmother's maiden name, Chrane. Her family was from Copenhagen, Denmark, so the spelling is different. Please change the name as this information can be vital in researching family ancestry.
|Diane Hurst||Edit for Homer Robison|
Thank you for the edit for Homer Robison. The edit indicates he was born in Greensburg, PA. His obituary says he was born in Mount Pleasant, PA. Thoughts?
|Kathy & Jerry Strickland||Barbara Keinz Tucker|
Barbra's parents were original buried at River Grove Cemetery which is the burial you have them connected to.. I have found that their burials were moved in 1939 to all Saints cemetery
Due to the records I found on line I am keeping both sets of memorials but have added notes to all regarding the removal from one cemetery to the other.
Would you please change her parents to:
These memorials are wher they are physically buried.. thanks
|Ralph Smith||Washington Smith|
Hey! Old History Buff,
How ya doing! There seems to be a problem with the date of birth. Washington's tombstone says that he was 73 years of age. If this is right it would put his birth in the year of 1815 not 1817. Thanks, hope you and yours are doing fine.
She is my husband's great grandmother. Her maiden name was Raglan, not Ragsdale.

|Fred Bradley||Cephas "Dick" Parr|
I live across the street from Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, MO and do photo requests in the cemetery. I often see Cephas Parr's marker and wonder why he's not noted as a "famous" or at least a "somewhat famous" person buried in Englewood. The cemetery has only one famous person memorial and he was just a Missouri state representative. What do you think?
|Cheryl||Martha L. "Mattie" Young Pliley|
May I please manage my great-grandmother's memorial? Her memorial # is 15840728. My membership number is #47679341. Thank you for creating such a wonderful memorial.

|LADONNA SANDERS||Peter Hammer|
Thank you for creating the memorial and the photo. These are my great great grandparents.
There is a Hammer Cemetery in Lincoln County, Ks, where Peter's daughter Mary Hammer Donley is buried, along with other Hammers and people in nearby rural communities.
