I have been researching family for over 4 years and a new member of Find A Grave. Family line includes; Carpenter, Fairbank(s), Foss, Lane, Nelson, Oothoudt, and Wise. Faribault County of Minnesota is the main area of residence. With the help of newly found "cousins" Marla, Debi, Gail, Donna, Linda, and Elaine, I have been able to add much more information to my family tree and genealogy information.|

|Julie McNally Cahill||Laura Rice Whiting 44036459|
Hello, Jill...I'm hoping you can tell me how you found the birth information for my 2x great grandmother Laura (Lorinda) Rice Whiting. I've not been able to find any birth record in Salem, NY and the scant information I can find about her lists her birthplace as Boston, Erie, NY. Also, Hamburg, NY is listed as her the town where she got married. Neither of those cities is close to Salem, so I'm quite curious as to where you got this information. To be sure, there were a lot of Rice's in Salem, but I just can't link Lorinda to this town, nor can I find the names of her parents. I would appreciate any help you could offer. Thank you so much.

Old Settler Died.
Last Tuesday night at seven O'clock occurred the death of one of Olmsted county.s oldest citizens in the person of David Waldron, who died of brights disease at his home just north of the village.
He was sick nearly a year and his death was not a surprise to his family. Mr. Waldron was born in York state in July 1834 and came to Minnesota when quite young. He was married the first time in 1859, which union was blessed with six children, three boys and three girls, all of which are living except James, who died about a year ago. He was married again in 1888 to Miss Lizzie Reinhart and to them was born three girls and one boy, all of whom are living and at home. The funeral will be held today at one o'clock at the house, and two o;clock at the church, Rev H B Hitching officiating, and the interment will be made at the Pleasant Prairie cemetery. Oronoco News. You are welcome it is amazing how those old New England families stuck together and married a generation or two or three later

Finding the memorials that you have made has added so much to my "burial unknown" that I will never forget you! And then for you to transfer them to me for management....your kindness is greatly appreciated.
