I don't know where it came from. Probably-most likely-Ancestry, and I usually ask permission to repost te photos here.
If you have another photo of your grandfather, please post it.
I have been looking for Mahala Gregory Austin and husband. You have listed them at Evergreen Cem in Chester. I contacted the lady over the cem and she has double checked and do not find the Austin's in the cem.
Just thought you should know or if you have any proof of them being in that cem. I would let this lady know.
|Sylvia Mintz Thomas||New Pleasant Bapt Ch|
Just noticed that you have an entry in New Pleasant Bapt Ch listed with a Spartanburg Co, SC address. It WAS ONCE in Spartanburg Co., but since 1900, and the creation of Cherokee Co from portions of Spartanburg, Union and York Counties, New Pleasant Church and Cemetery are solidly in Cherokee CO, SC. The official and total listing for New Pleasant Church Cemetery can be found on FIND-A-Grave with a Cherokee Co. address. This is a very easy mistake to make because historically it was in Spartanburg Co, and because the fact that from many approaches to the cemetery one will be driving in and crossing a county line without noticing a rather small sign that notes the change.
I assure you this is a truthful statement as I grew up in the area and know the church, cemetery, and the community people rather well. I take this time to point to a mistake but to say that your work is important to many who do genealogy. The address change will assure that everyone will be able to find , use , and be thankful that you took time to post! SMThomas

David Gentry is my great uncle. Would you please transfer him to me so I can correct the death date and add a bio?
|Debra||RE: Sarah Rogers|
I really don't understand your message. You are listed as the contact for Sarah Adams Rogers, yes? Sarah Rogers Vice is her daughter. I don't understand why her memorial can not be added to her parents memorial site. It is done all the time by entering the Find A Grave memorial number of the child. Margaret Ann Rogers Williams is listed on their site as a child. ???? I'm confused about why you wouldn't want to show all information relating to a individual to promote their legacy. I believe in honoring all my ancestors with as much data as I can list.

Nevermind on the transfer request. Did not realize you are a descendant of Robert Rogers. Looked at your virtual cemeteries after I left the previous message.

Angela - Would you please transfer Robert T. Rogers # 63186865 and Sarah Adams Rogers # 63186893. They are my direct line GGGG grand parents. Are you related to the Rogers line?

|Bettye Bunch||Richard Carlisle-Longacre Cemetery|
I followed an entry on Ancestry.com that said you had provided the record for Richard Carlisle's burial place in Longacre Cemetery near the town of Stevenson, AL. I have gone there to try to locate the marker, but I cannot. Someone else that I contacted said that it is a simple stone with "R. Carlisle" on it in the old part of the cemetery. I am wondering if you or anyone else could give me specific information on where the stone is located. Thanks
