Larry & I are from Campbell County in east Tennessee & we are hoping to help others find their families. If there is anyone here we can help you find, please email us.|
We have no problems at all with transfers. If you are a closer relative than we are, we will transfer. If we have no connection and you have some connection (even friendship), we will transfer. Just ask.
I realize that some of the photos I took in my early years of Find A Grave are less than perfect. If you'd like me to retake a photo for any reason at all (move the flowers, get a close-up, etc) please let me know and I'll be happy to retake them.

Oh, you are such a sweetheart! Thank you, thank you! My husband, Randy Johnson, wanted me to ask where you're from, because he went to school with some Doepels in Jellico.

Thanks so much for responding. We have a four wheeler, & we're planning on getting a side by side soon. We were in our 4 wheel drive pickup last fall when we were looking. Do you remember if it was near the logging road? My husband's cousin has been doing logging up there. We were trying to access through the La Follette side. Do you remember if it was nearer to the Stinking Creek side? Also, do you remember seeing James Johnson's tombstone? We were looking in an area that had a gate across part of one road. There was also a cabin near there. The GPS said we were beside Johnson Creek, so we thought we were on the right track, but I don't know. We followed the GPS coordinates, but obviously they were wrong. I thank you so much for your info. It's kind of turned into an obsession for us to find it. LOL! I'm not going to try again until cooler weather, when the snakes hibernate!

Hello! I noticed you posted some pics of tombstones and a cemetery sign for Johnson Cemetery in Campbell Co. TN. Can you tell me how to reach this cemetery? My husband's 2 x's great grandfather (James Johnson) is buried here, and we have searched many times for it, and can't find it. We went to the Ivy Dell community, and took Water Plant Rd. We followed this all the way to Johnson Branch. We searched all around the area, but had no luck. Any help you can offer is much appreciated!

Thank you so much for answering my email. I have intended to get to one of their meetings, seems I always get distracted on that day. Thanks for the contact info, I need to get back to visit Venita Ann and Mark in Jellico. I have done DNA with Ancestry also. More than happy to help anyone I can. I need to come to LaFollette also and go to the cemetery there also. Would like to meet, maybe lunch. My email for genealogy is firstname.lastname@example.org, I am retired and I have lots of time to pierce together our family puzzles. I use the gmail account to communicate with cousins outside of FindAGrave so it isn't public to everyone. Hope to hear from you again.
