I have been working on my family genealogy for several years. I have had alot of help from others and I like to help anyone that I can. I sure appreciate this website. It is a great help with our research and brings alot of families together in the process. |
I will be happy to transfer ownership of a memorial that I have added, to members of that person's family. Under the edit key you can suggest a correction, provide additional information that you want added or I will transfer the management to you. I will also be glad to link the memorials to other memorials for you if possible.
Thanks to all who have left flowers and messages on the memorials I have submitted.

|ROBERT BAKER||John and Delilah Ward|
John # 57280198 and Delilah #80690417 Ward are my g-g grandparents through their daughter Sarah who married Peter. Would you please transfer their memorials to me?
Thanks, Robert Baker

Thank you Helen for transfer of Silas Tooley.
|ROBERT BAKER||Jacob S. Baker #17808796|
Jacob is my g-g-g grandfather and the reason I'm a Baker and not a Studebaker. I would like to have his memorial switched to me. I and Gathiel Baker are the family historians. I am acquainted to a family that still lives on the area near Penrod KY. that Jacob originally settled. I have a picture of his house in the late 1800 when it was the Wood's, (his daughter). We do need to correct his birth site, Washington Co. MD
Thanks, Robert Baker
|C.||Thomas Jefferson Cherry Memorial.|
I found this posted on his memorial. But, In my research, I have the same information. I posted what is found on his memorial.
Kentucky, Death Records, 1852-1953 about T Jeff Cherry Name:T Jeff Cherry Death Date:12 Feb 1928 Death Location:Simpson Age:78 Gender:Male Ethnicity:White Birth Date:13 Sep 1849 Birth Location:Simpson, Kentucky Father's Name:William W. "Bill" Cherry Father's Birth Location:Simpson, Kentucky Mother's Name:Charlotte Jane Dethridge Mother's Birth Location:Virginia most likely per Census. His parents marriage was in Robertson Co TN. Her name listed as variation not exactly as Dethridge.
William Cherry served in the Civil War. He died in the 1880's and in KY. Does not have a memorial while, Charlotte does but Thomas is not linked to her. Maybe this can help other's reseaching him and his parents. Thank you.
I have not been doing this as long., I had an account on here. Forgot about it while caring for my parents. Then, recreated another, whuch Find a Grave merged with the first older one. Looks like somewhat deceiving on how long I have been on here. Still a lot to learn.
Thank you in all that you do helping others finding their ancestors and loved ones.

|Sue Lee Johnson||Rebecca Jane Penrod Booker Kennerly|
Helen, you left a message on Rebecca Kennerly's memorial page that I think is an error. You said that Rebecca is the daughter of David Allen Penrod and Melissa Gibbs. According to the 1860 and 1870 Census's she's the daughter of Lott P. Penrod and Lydia D. Wood. Please check this out.
She was the wife of my 1st cousin 3x removed - William T. Booker.

Thank you very much for your hard work and efforts on the Find A Grave site. It is truly the genealogist great friend. I know it is made up of people like you who are willing to go the extra mile. Thanks to you all, people like me who can no longer visit cemeteries, can see their extended families gravesites. I hope you will not mind my copying your photos for my family files on Ancestry and Family Treemaker. I am trying so hard to leave files where my extended family can see their heritage. I am now 87 and time is fast running out for me but hopefully there will be those who follow in my footsteps.
Thank you again.
