I have been researching my family tree for several years. I especially enjoy working in the cemeteries. My brick wall seems to be the Neal's (Neil, Niel, Neel), Plumlee's & Cash's of Knox Co., Tennessee. If you are researching the same, I would love to hear from you.|

Wonderful biography, photo, and obituary of Thomas Clifton "Curley" Burns. Thank you!
|Joe Stephens||Andy Neil|
Andy Neil was a first cousin to my mother's Grandmother Susan Cannon Spangler. Andy's mother, Lucinda Craig Flatford Neil, was a sister to her mother Louisa Craig Cannon. You can find Andy listed with his parents, David and Lucinda Neil, on the 1880 Campbell County census. Andy Neil's family lived on Big Creek near the Simpson Hollow before Norris Lake was formed. My father remembered them.

How sure are you of Mary V. Baker Reid's maiden name?
|Shaunna Ownby Morrison||Neal|
Hi! You threw out a couple of names in a message that I think I've heard throughout my childhood. I think we may be related.
|Nina McComas Thomas||Cecilia Elizabeth "Sealy" McMahan Proffitt|
Hi Kathy, I believe that the photo you posted on Sealy Proffitt Find A Grave Memorial# 30911445 is actually the headstone for a memorial you created for Cecilia Elizabeth "Sealy" McMahan Proffitt ...Find A Grave Memorial# 35749004. The citations for birth and death for Cecilia Elizabeth "Sealy" McMahan are the same dates. Just wondering if you could shed any light on this. Stranger coincidences happen all the time. Thanks for your consideration. Nina McComas Thomas
|JoanB||Nina Armstrong McGhee|
I thought you might be interested to know that Aaron and Margaret Armstrong also had a daughter, Nina, who married to John McGhee.
They also had a daughter named "Bertie" who never married, but is buried near Nina and John in Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knox Co.
I only know about Nina because of my research into the McGhee family. She and John had no children, though he had two from a previous marriage.

First, many thanks for your extensive documentation and research. You have been awesome!
Could you email an image file of..well, any Otts...but the one that got my attention was of William Edgar Ott with dau Mae Ott Knight holding baby Herbert. At least, I presume it's the first boy,Herbert, from the excited looks everyone is giving him. This request is on the public site so that it can extend to everyone who sees this message In return, I offer to share whatever images I have. Mostly Ott/Walker/French/Jett/Housers and occasional Vineyards from Knox/Blount area.
Many thanks! Hope to bump into you at a cemetery sometime ( only on Find A Grave is that a good thing!)

I assume you are talking about Dr. Judson Benjamin Deal (wife Donna) listed in Barbara Deal's obit. The obit has them living in Augusta.
I looked at the Richmond Co. Tax Assessor's website and their address is: 505 Regent Place, Augusta, GA 30909. Hope this helps. Thanks,

Hello, I am researching my husband's ancestors. I see you posted a photo of Daniel Sayne on this site. I am struggling to find info on my husband's g-g-grandfather, John Saine (married to Martha Slatery), who I believe to be Daniel Saine's brother. If you have any info you would care to share I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time and research.
