Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a true, 4th generation, Oregon native that has been doing geneology on my family for the past 30 years. Because of the great job I (currently) have, I'm able to drive around the United States, work on a book that I'm currently writing, Generals of the American Civil War, and also do my own family search. Because of all the help I have received from friends, relatives and a whole lot of fine people here on Find A Grave, I'm ready and willing to help others find their "Lost" loved ones when I'm in any certain area by looking under photo requests.

Lorell Alvin Jackson
You recently notified me that Lorell was not buried at Laurel Hills. His death certificate is quite specific even indicating the date of burial there. Do you have contact information so I can call them. I have a feeling he may have no headstone.
Is the Vetch Funeral Home still in business in the area?

L. Webster's Grave Photo
Thank you so much for taking a higher resolution photo of my great maternal grandmother's grave stone! Louisa Leila Webster was born on 25 Feb 1872 in (I believe) La Crescent, Minnesota. (A ship's passenger record shows she was born in The Cross, Minnesota) She was the daughter of Orson Warren Webster, a Civil War veteran who served in Wisconsin's 3rd Infantry Regiment.

P.S. I know her gravestone shows her first name as "Louise" but I have a copy of her marriage certificate that shows her name was "Louisa".
