A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best friend...my Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!
Update: Married my best friend, My Ed, Oct 3, 2014 and am now officially a "new" person lol
PLEASE If you want to request a transfer or updates to memorials do that through the "edit" tab/suggest a correction!!!! When I have many many many edits/transfers/messages to read and answer it gets frustrating to have to look up the memorials for each request when if done correctly I can just click on the link included with the suggestion/edit...quicker for me to get it done for you :) :)
If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!
From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial.

Thanks Colleen. It was great to see a photo of Aunt Pearl's headstone; I have been trying for a long time to find information on my mom's side of the family. This is a great starting point. Thanks again!!
Memorial #112218846 is an answer for my research of locating this family member.Thank you for all you do with Find A Grave and for putting this in Find A Grave.I have submitted and edit for her parents which should connect all her immediate family members.Again,Thank you.

Hello! Thank you for creating the memorial to Mrs. Pearl M. Smith (Pearl May Sutton) b. 1905 d. 1980 in Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
I am interested in learning your connection to Pearl, my mother Rissia Margaret Sutton's eldest sister - my Aunt.
My mother lost communications with her family in the mid-1930s and I have been actively seeking information on them since 1970. Pearl's mother was Charity Francis Ball and Pearl's Father was James A. Sutton.
If you have any information that you could help me with on Pearl and her family; I would greatly appreciate sharing the information I have accumulated thus far.
Please contact me either here or by email - your choice - so that we may discuss this. THANK YOU!!

I believe your listing for Steve Rolland in Layton Cemetery is a duplicate of Stephen Rolland Burton #169779885. Again it is the two bears and a hard to read stone.

I believe your listing for S. Rose Pollard in Layton Cemetery is a duplicate of Shirley Rose Burton #169779849. Check it out & see the picture of the two bears. I admit the stone is hard to read.

|Kelli||Ronald Lane Memorial# 61876329|
Hi Colleen and THANK YOU so much for publishing my Uncles memorial. If you could please correct a few things I would greatly appreciate it, as would his children and grandchildren. Ronald Lane was the son of Leroy Lane,Memorial# 62168785, and Lucille Lane, Memorial# 62168823, and the brother of Dale L. Lane (my father), Memorial# 120891613. I believe its important to add this information. I will find his obituary and forward that information as well.
Again... thank you and God Bless
