Note: I do not post obits on memorials I manage-
period! If a memorial is transferred to me and it
already has an obit, it is left on, as I try only to add to a transferred memorial.
I believe that relatives and friends should have any
memorials I maintain transferred to them, regardless
of what the guidelines are. Of course if I am a closer relative, the memorial will not be transferred. If I am a more close friend, it will not be
transferred. If the memorial is of a close friend of mine, and the requester is a distant relative, I might not transfer. Please, please use the edit tab on the memorial you wish transferred to you.
Also, I may ask for some proof of any claims of your relationship or friendship. You'll never know if I will transfer a memorial unless you ask.

We are, my GGGrandfather Adam Haag was a brother to your Philipp. Small world. There is a Don Haag over in Germantown and we finally figured out that we are very distantly related. I think all the Haags in Louisville are somehow related.

Okay, I think I tried that. I am just learning the system so any feedback helps. Anyway, I am trying to get the family linked. I've been researching them for about 30 years and just recently discovered Findagrave. I figured it would be helpful to someone. If you want to transfer him over that would be great.
Are you a family member btw?

Howdy...no biggie about not posting the obit. A transfer isn't necessarily. I'm not good about keeping up with stuff. I ran across this site and my curiosity was peaked. Btw..my mom is Bette.

Hello, I'm a little late in the game but was hoping somebody could help me get started.
My mom (Sissy)-deceased 9/2003-was one of three children (Charlie and Kenny)to Charles E Shelton and Elnora Sanders. I'm not seeing any Shelton information and thought maybe one of you may know.
I remember visiting on Hill Street where my Grandpa lived next to his sister, Elizabeth Curry. My mom would spend the day visiting with her grandma whose names was Mattie. I remember a lady who I believe was my mom's aunt, and her name was something like Willamae, Willowmae, I can't remember much more other than there were alot of Shelton's on Hill Street in Elizabethtown.
I see my grandpa is not listed as a child of Charles Shelton and Mattie Rissler Shelton, and there lies my confusion.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry about that. Wanted to thank you for thanking a picture of Edward's Gravestone. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated. Phil

I forgot to add--I will gladly send you source documents if you'd like.

I have Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Tape) TATE in 1880 and 1910 census, numerous Louisville directories that list her as the widow of Albert TATE
Her son, William J TATE's death cert lists his mother as Elizabeth TAPE (typed).
1880 Lizzie TATE with son
1910 Mary E TATE(again with son and widowed
Death cert Mary E TATE--father: Fred TAPE
