I am the youngest son of Lenoard W. Purifoy and Gertie H. Wilson Purifoy. I was born in Rodessa LA in 1939 but moved to Texas at a young age. I lived in Pasadena Tx. from 1948 until 1994. I then moved to Houston County Texas. A cousin told me of this site. I new that it would be a great help for people tracing there families past. I have been active in genealogy for many years and feel that this is something I could do to help others.
