How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me? First, determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. It would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree. Transfer requests that do not include relationship to deceased or are out of guidelines are deleted. I would be happy to transfer a memorial to you if the memorial follows these guidelines. Please don't try to hoard graves. I have worked quite a few years to have the numbers I do, and most were added and photographed by me. You shouldn't be asking to transfer if you have no connection... It's always nice when you acknowledge the transfer, so I know you received it! IMPORTANT *If you are looking for a "perfect" photo, it doesn't always happen when you have limited time to photograph large sections of graves. I try my best, but I am unable to stop and care for every grave that needs assistance. Please request a Find-a-Grave photo through the "Request A Photo" button tab if you do not feel my photo fills your needs. Thank you! DR
