Nancy, thank you for transferring the memorials to me. I wasn't expecting that, but it is a nice surprise!
I added you to my List of Friends. You may do likewise, if you wish.

Hello, thank you for your reply. No doubt Mary is buried between her family, without a headstone, never there or lost. I suspect lost or stolen. Their son John Bennett Wickizer married Anna (Polly) Brooke and my then my great grandparents, John Zehner and Sarah Jane Wickizer.

Hello, you put a photo of the tombstone of my 3rd Great Grandfather, Andrew Wickizer. I had asked Find A Grave members to find her tombstone, his wife, Mary Bennett Wickizer. Then looking at her site on Find A Grave is this message:
Mary's stone is not here, but it was probably located in the space between her son Asa's stone (2nd from the left) and her husband Andrew's stone (furthest right).
So, I presume that there is nothing to indicate that Mary Bennett Wickizer is in that cemetery. I got a message from Find A Grave reading that a stone could not be found. If you ever get back to that place, perhaps you will find something, and perhaps not!
In any case thank for you for the beautiful photo of Andrew Wickizer's timbstone.

I was researching George Greenlee, a marine that died in 1942. On Find A Grave Memorial# 51056410, I discovered that you had placed a photo of him on this memorial. George A. Greenlee is actually a Spanish American War veteran who just happened to pass away in 1942 also. I don't know if this is possible or not but could you move the photo from this memorial to Find A Grave Memorial# 56765129, which is the correct memorial? If you could, it would certainly be appreciated.
Thank you for all you do on Find-A-Grave!!!

Hello, I just saw that you have this grave linked with Sarah Elizabeth Lindamood Dearth. I have been looking (on and off) for any information on Ida Gardner and this is the first time i have found anything slightly relevant. Can I ask how you were able to find out that your Ida was Sarah's daughter? Or if that was something you did. I know anyone can add edit's and I have done that for many other members of my more extended family. Thank you in advance.

You are awesome! Thank you so much for helping. . .I understand that at moments it can be a little insane, but I appreciate any assistance that we can get.

You added a very nice picture to this memorial:

Thank you Nancy for getting back to me. Your answer was very helpful. The plot at the Cedar Hill in Ohio, it is my understanding that Mr. Mercer is in the military section. I could not tell you if there is a military section or not. I forget that when we ask for a photo we have to wait for a volunteer. The names I mentioned that went through a name change since it has not been a month since they were added, i think it just might be a good idea to sit back a wait. Thank you so very much, Anna
|Anna Herrera||Questions as to how find a grave works|
Nancy not sure if you remember me as you do not have to but I have a question to ask you if you don't mind. You have been very helpful to me in the past with finding several of my family burial plots and also the taking of pictures. One of my questions is. Earlier this year in Jan I entered a memorial on find a grave. It was for Elmer Lloyd Mercer. His memorial # is 175019163. He is husband to my 2nd cousin. I think I made the mistake of as soon as I entered him I requested a photo and I think that request was too soon to ask. Do you know how to remove that request so maybe I can enter again? He is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Licking, Ohio. My other question is I entered about 5 family with the wife on find a grave. The cemetery for this family is in CA. Strange about this family is that they went through a name change. I have not heard from ancestry.com if they received my entry into find a grave. I think that maybe it has something to do with the names. I did not know they changed there surname until about 4 or 5 years ago. As far as I can tell the change may not have been done legally or in a court but do not know. Would you be able to help me or do you know who to contact with find a grave if I need to ask more about this family. I hope I am not confusing you. Thank you, Anna
