I know a little bit about Lula Cobb... I recently found out about the train robbery as well! Her parents were Phenie Holmes Cobb and John Cobb. There is a book written about her parents called Phenies World. It was written by Phenie Cobbs granddaughter, MJ Cobb Young. If there is more your u would like to know please let me know.

Could you please delete one of the pictures on this memorial - so I can add a picture of the grave marker. The limit for photos is 5 and I can't add the memorial marker picture. Thank you! Nancy Bedell

Donnie: So are you part of the group that was turned down for Federal Acknowledgment recently? Nancy's niece Annie Martin-Thompson, is one of the progenitors of the Mount Tabor Indian Community. We were established in 1845 and believe the six remaining extended families can meet the requirements of the 7 criteria of OFA.
I am the current Chairman of the MTIC and we discussed your group at length lately. Would like to discuss it further, if you are with the Georgia Cherokees. We have a Facebook site "Mount Tabor Indian Community" that has quite a bit of information if you are interested. It is a closed site, but you can request to join.
Thank you for your response
