I was born in Virginia. My dad was in Graduate School at Virginia Tech at the time. My dad got a job at NGCSU, so I grew up in Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, Georgia. I moved to Marietta, Cobb County, GA in 2007.|
My dad has been researching his family roots for over 45 years. So with his expertise and experience guiding me, I have quickly absorbed the process of researching Genealogy.
In April 2009, on a trip to Massachusetts, I became very interested in researching my mother's side of the family. I have spent the last four years visiting cemeteries, libraries, state archives, and history centers. It has been a wonderful adventure finding out where my relatives are buried, what occupation they did, and even reading some of their private letters. I have family roots from Vermont and Massachusetts to Georgia and South Carolina. In Georgia, I have family roots in Richmond, Chatham, Cobb, Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, Gordon, Fulton, Floyd and Paulding Counties. My ancestors names on my mother's side are: Carrie, Colvard, Conn, Cornwell, Dicks, Blodgett, Booth, Brantly, Berrien, Burroughs, Eubanks, Foreman, Franklin, Hairston, Hawks, Haygood, Hulbert, Hill, Johns, Lindley, Litchfield, Miller, Parker, Perkinson, Stinchcomb, Thompson, Toole, Turner, Wall, Wheeler, Wigley, Wood, and Woodall.
Currently, I am working on a genealogy book or books of my family lines.
Also, you can use the info and photos here for your personal use but if you plan to copy any of my memorials or photographs and post them to other web sites like ancestry.com; etc. please "cite" where you found them from with my findagrave profile. All my memorials are family and related/allied lines and they are constantly updated and changed as I find more info. I have worked really hard scanning family photos/info and researching all the information.
Note: Edit requests and e-mails will take a month to acknowledge as I get numerous requests since ancestry.com bought findagrave and there is more exposure. Please be patient and do not send multiple requests.

Update: Thought I'd let you know that of the 18 Revolutionary War ancestors I have, Timothy Blodgett was the easiest to prove. My SAR application was approved in June of this year. I offer you that info in case you have interest in the DAR or perhaps you're already a member!

|Dave Robison||Timothy and Melicent Blodgett|
Hello 6th Cousin!
My name is Dave Robison, a professional genealogist from Springfield, Massachusetts. I noted that you are the 5th great granddaughter of Timothy and his wife, Melicent (Millicent, etc...). I've been working off and on with an application to the Sons of the American Revolution. I joke that I'm the "Cobbler With No Shoes" as I have little time these days for my own research. I have at least 18 Revolutionary War Patriot ancestors, Timothy being one of them. He is also the specific ancestor I'm using for entry. It's a little more complicated that that, but it's what led me to your Find A Grave entry where you mention your relationship. Since we are both 5th great grands of his, we would be 6th cousins. I have extensive data in this and many other lines of my New England ancestors. I'd love to compare notes! I can be more readily contacted at this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Just opened another packet and connection was there. William Jones Sanders "Bill" was my great great grandfather. Sophronia was his sister. If this is your line let me know. I have no desire to keep pics from direct line or if they are in your research. I have many others of the Sanders line. gail

I have two photos that might be related to you. They were simply labeled by a great aunt Josie Almand Chandler many years ago. W,H. Williams, William Williams. His wife was Safronia Sanders Williams and son maybe be Charlie or W.H., Jr. They are wonderful studio pics and I would really like to know how related to my Sanders group. If not direct kin to me, I am willing to give to you. Thanks, gail

Thanks for the updates, and for the information you've added. ~~Carol
Thank you. I know I must seem quite rude at this point. I am sincerely sorry about that. You have done wonderful work on this family, and I do appreciate it. I have limited time to work here, and I just didn't seem to be getting through.
I'm looking forward to learning what else you have found on the Eubanks family. I never heard them mentioned, and had no knowledge of them.
Once again, thank you.
