|Barbara L. Kirkland||RE: Ganas Family|
Thank you so much.....If you have individual pictures of the Ganas plot she should be in there.
|Barbara L. Kirkland||Ganas Family|
B.B....you posted picture for Russell Ganas #58418358. His wife, my cousin, Marian Cole Ganas, died a couple of days ago. I know there has to be a tombstone for his wife if there was one for Russell. Can you look at your pictures and see if you can find one to post to Marian's memorial?
Thank you so much for your help. I would love to see her memorial with a tombstone pic.
|Japhus Wood||RE: Thank You|
I've visited recently. There's not much to do. But the barbecue was good. I will visit the swamp next time
|Japhus Wood||Thank You|
I am a descendant of Elias & Janie Wood.
They are my great grandparents. They are a part of our nations history when escaped slaves and native Americans fled to the swamps to avoid the "trail of tears". I never thought I would find their graves. I am indebted to you!

Thank you for transferring maintenance of Mem # 33675692 Martha Puryear to me. How easy would it be to find her grave at Mt. Herman. I see you are quite busy with Find a Grave so not sure how much you would remember. i am planning a trip to the area and would like to stop by this cemetery. Thanks for any insight.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I appreciate all that you do!

|Karen Haney||Velma Meers Smith (27 Dec 1902-4 Feb 1987)|
If you are still needing info on Velma she was born in LaRue County Kentucky the daughter of David Green Meers (1869-1959) and Sarah Amanda (Sally) Lamkin (1874-1931). She lived in LaRue County as a child. As a young adult she lived in Louisville, sharing a home for a time with some of her siblings. She married William Bryan Smith and lived in Louisville with him, as well as several other cities in the south where he worked for SBT&T as an engineer.
I found some information on William B Smith if you would like that too.
All the best.
