Hi my name is Timberly. I would love to help with any one who needs a photo. If any info is incorrect just use the Suggest a Correction and let me know the correct info and I will gladly change it. I will transfer any memorial to a immediate family member or a close friend of any that I have created.If I have created a memorial for your loved one and you do not want it here on findagrave, for what ever reason, contact me and I will delete it immediately. All memorials are created out of respect.If u send a request, or a correction please be patient. I have a full time job plus a full time mom and by no means on the computer for hours upon hours. I will get to them. Promise, and I'm by no means the FAG police so if u leave a message that basically says " correct this or delete this or I'm going to turn you in to become inactive" you've got the wrong attitude and get off my page. We are all here for different reasons so if "you" think I'll go quietly your wrong. Thanks to everyone that has left tokens for my loved ones.|

Baby Allen was my Grandmother's baby, I would appreciate it very much if you could make me manager of this memorial. I would also like to thank you in advance for your participation in the find a grave website. The information you provide is a valuable tool in the research of family tree information.
|Greg Adams||Marie Hall Swanson|
Hi Timberly. ..... I was wondering, is there any way I could get a photo of the gravesite of Marie Hall Swanson. She is the husband of Arnold C. Swanson (Memorial #45847585). Arnold and Marie are my wife's uncle and aunt. I want thank you for what you do. It's greatly appreciated.

I am searching for information on another ORVILLE BLOCKER, so the name of the memorial you have on find-a-grave (32591253) intrigued me.
Does the following name mean anything to you?

Memorial # 38815493. While recently adding pictures from the Calvary Cemetery I noticed that this memorial has the middle name misspelled according to grave marker. They have spelled it Eskell on grave marker. Just wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not know which is correct.

|jenn||Konawa Memorial Cemetery|
Wondering if you might be able to help me out. My grandmother, a native of Konawa, recently passed away in Texas. We'd like to have her ashes interred at Konawa Memorial Cemetery, where her parents are buried. I can't find any information online, so I'm unsure if this is still an "active" cemetery.
Thanks so much!

|Gary Martin||Access to Eastern State Hospital Cemetery|
For anyone wanting access to Eastern State Hospital, there are some guidelines for access. First of all, on Memorial Day, the cemetery is open to the public and you do not have to be escorted on the property. The state opens the site and provides a guard to let you in with no security passes needed. If you go any other time, you will have to stop by the Oklahoma Forensic Center, Vinita, which is right at the entrance to the abandoned Eastern State Hospital location, about 1/2 mile from the cemetery. The Forensic Center is a state owned and operated secure location. You will have to go inside and obtain a visitor's pass and be escorted to the cemetery for you visit. The cemetery is on state prison grounds, so they are quite careful about visitors there. Additionally, the cemetery was vandalized by teenagers in the year 2000, and many of the grave sites were damaged, and some gravestones tossed everywhere. We found our great uncle Lonnie Halls grave site. There were many more people buried on this hospital grounds than is indicated in the information listed here. My relative was the 1,296th person to be buried on hospital grounds / cemetery according to records. Prison trustees mow and clean the cemetery intermittently, but in my visit today, it appeared like it had not been mowed at all this year (April 11, 2015). The guard told me that only about 3-4 people visit the cemetery on Memorial Day. Good luck to all!

Timberly, thank you kindly for creating the Findagrave info my great uncle Lonnie. I never knew him as he died the same year I was born. No one in our family ever knew where he was buried, and only through talking with my mother (99 years old as of this writing)was I able to piece together where he might have ended up, spent his last years, died and was buried. The short story is that he was admitted to Eastern State Hospital in July of 1928 (46 years old) by his brother, Dr. Ulysses Grant Hall. Lonnie was not insane, but was an invalid from age 2 due to polio. Lonnie spend 22 years at the hospital and died at age 68 on March 7, 1950 of pneumonia. No family could be found at his death and he was buried in the hospital cemetery. I found a very helpful lady at the Oklahoma Forensic Center (new name of the hospital)who helped me unearth his records and burial information, in late in 2014. Today, April 11, 2015, I took my 99 year old mother (his niece) to Lonnie's graveside in the Eastern State Hospital Cemetery. We took pictures, said a prayer for all family, and bid Lonnie a proper family farewell as there has never been a family relative by his graveside since he died in 1950. I found this site after going on line to post his information on findagrave.com. Thankyou kindly for your work. There is a mountain of history around that hospital (started in 1915)...quite historic. Gary Martin; maternal great nephew of Lonnie (firstname.lastname@example.org).
