Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Hannah Metzker Kepple and live in Hopewell Township, Pa. I was born and grew up in Roaring Spring, Pa. Roaring Spring is part of Morrisons' Cove where my family ancestors settled. My family extends into many names, starting with Johannes Metzger, my immigrant ancestor. He had several daughters who married into the Brumbaugh Family. From there it has extended into many other names. If you think you may also go back to Johannes Metzger of Morrisons' Cove, I would be happy to share information. Now retired, my husband like to go out and walk thru cemeteries and work on my latest project.

i am of the Keiser line and think i became confused i found Keppler in my Keiser line so i do apologize for the mix up. i am related to Charles Elmer Keiser who married a Phyllis Keppler from the south Whitley Indiana area. Charles Elmer Keiser is Hiram Keiser's son who is buried in the old Nolt cemetery in Columbia city. and Hiram is the one son of Jacob Keiser and Mary Malone Keiser

Isaac Baker - 128732559
Hi, Hannah,

Isaac Baker is my 3rd great-uncle. If you are not more closely related, would you be so kind as to transfer his memorial to me? I have researched the Baker family line (English) for about 3 years now and now formally documenting.

Appreciate all you do in support of Find A Grave's mission - its great piecing families together again.

The fact that Michael, Sarah, William, and Thomas are all in the same plot and lot is a dead giveaway (no pun intended) and certainly establishes their relationship (in my mind anyway)

Thomas Lamison
Actually, another brother, George Lamison also served in the 110th PA Infantry. Just seems like more than a coincidence
Again, thank you

Thomas Lamison
You have recorded a memorial for Thomas #59979585, with YOB 1842
I have a Thomas Lamison from Hopewell, son of Michael and Sarah (the 1850-1860 censuses spell the surname Lamberson), but it looks like he was born abt 1836. At least two of his brothers, David and James Henry also were CW Vets from Hopewell. So I am wondering if this Thomas is the son of Michael and Sarah

Death Certificate
I just added the death certificate for Mary Ann (Hess) Lake. Please note her mother was Mary Ann Lanehart NOT Catharine Basham. You need to make this correction.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

RE: Catharine Rhodes Estright
Morning Hannah, not sure if I every responded to your request about Catherine. Here's what I have.

Lewis / Estrick / Eastright / Estright, born in Allegheny Township, Huntingdon County, (became Blair County in 1846) Pennsylvania, in 1809 to A-2, Patrick Willis (wife unknown) Estrick. Lewis appeared to have switch his last name around several times during his life. He married Catharine Rhodes around 1832. Catharine was born in 1812 Christian and Mary Catherine Estrite
(it should have been Estrick) Rhodes. It looks like Catharine brought a daughter to this marriage, Sarah Ox (Oaks). Sarah was mention in Catharine fatherís will, which was sent to me
by Christine Schultz Langdon. Lewis was listed in the 1860 census as Estrite, then showed up in the 1870 census, as Eastright, then Estright in 1880 census. Lewis had inherited the farm land in Liberty, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, from the death of his son, Christian, who was killed in the Civil War. Lewis was in the wood chopper business (which I think was selling fire wood). He sold the land he inherited to his daughter Caroline and her husband, Levi Reed. All of Lewisís children were born with the Estrick name, then change to Eastright or Estright name. Lewis and Catharine died in Liberty. Catharine died September 1, 1886, and Lewis died June 21, 1888. They are buried at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Saxton, Bedford County. Lewis and Catharine had nine
children, but one is unaccounted. Catherine brought one child to the marriage.
