The name is spelt incorrect it is Carrie, and she was my great great grandma. Thanks for posting this! But why does it say her mothers name was jinni guff, that's not what I know to be true. I know her mother to be Jane Webb Hudson

RE: Jean Mary Gehring
Thank you. Sorry I didn't think to give you the information before. It wasn't as straight forward as most connections are.

You are correct in that William and his wife Tennie were buried in the Salem Cemetery and yes he died in McMinnville, BUT he is BURIED in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty, DeKalb, TN where his family is buried. His findagrave number is #150819746. You will see his tombstone that has the same life dates you show along with his wife Tennie. She was Martha Tennessee Chapman and is found in the Census records as Tennie C Turner. The person you list was NOT buried in the Salem Church of Christ Cemetery in McMinnville. I found his death cert online and it's not transcribed well to show the name of the Cemetery but it says something like Sale B G Cem, but should be Salem B C Cem for Salem Baptist Church. I hate that the other lady linked it incorrectly, but she is incorrect with her info. LOOK at the other cemetery record and you will see. This TENNIE was the daughter of Thomas "Tom" Chapman and Martha Jane Hendrixson.

This young child's name was "Ettie M. Berry" not Etta. I have a copy of her original hand-written birth record from Hampshire County, West Virginia. It lists her as "Beery Ettie M."

Her death record lists her as "Myrtle Beery"

Please make that correction.

Many thanks for all your great work.

RE: John A Alcorn
Thank you for your reply. I'm not related to John. I am attempting to locate the final resting location of our Civil War veterans within the county and John was on my list of the ones I cannot find. Thank you very much for your help.
