I have been to the St John's Cemetery in Hamburg, Berks County, PA USA. I have pictures of Stitzel tombstones. Actually there are 11 of them. The tombstones are very hard to read but I have a copy of the Cemetery book which has all the information from each stone. Since you don't have a birth or death date for John, I wasn't sure if this was the same one. My records show John was born 20 May 1791 and died 17 Apr 1847. He was the son of Jacob Stitzel and Elisabeth Hufnagel. If this is the correct person, I will post the picture and information. Please contact me at email@example.com for more information on the Stitzel's buried at St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg, PA USA.

Hello Lynda. I was able to contact the owner of the memorial and they moved the memorial to Northfield Fall. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=heath&GSiman=1&GScid=1147835&GRid=66621147&

Lynda-Thanks for the transfer- I think that was the fastest I have ever seen! You updated all the requested info and then transferred her to me in record time. What a sweetie - thanks!

you're very welcome. I was at every stone in the place and took pictures of most of them.... the ones you seek just didn't seem to be there. I'll make a note and if I run across them anywhere I'll let you know.

Hi: I'm so sorry for the condition of the headstone. The headstone next to that one...J.T. Fry is also ready to fall over. I thought I would take a photo of it, just in case you needed that too. But I noticed it was already a photo taken, however, mine is much clearer.
Looks like the Chapel cemetery association may be trying to replace some of the stones...I hope so.

dates added, thank you so much.

I was adding pictures of some requests from the Hemphill Cemetery. I found that John Arndt is buried in a family plot with the name of CORLEY in the middle. His marker reads (Uncle) John Arndt 1868-1952. I suppose this is who you are looking for. I guess a correction needs to be made by the person that entered it. Hope this helps you. I looked everywhere for him and there he was all along. I did find 10 other requests listed. If I can help you with anything let me know. Janet
