I am amazed how as long as i have been on FAG how contributors are so unprofessional. They act like they own certain cemeteries. Trying to ask people to edit memorials if duplicated is almost impossible |
It should be a mutual effort to help others.
We are doing many cemeteries. We are all
human and sometimes make mistakes.
Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs, photographs I have taken of grave stones or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to Ancestry.com or any other website or personal webpages.
Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just were out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone who is your relative please ask for a transfer within FAG guidelines. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.
My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.
Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you: www.lindalively.com .It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family
In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials (Milton Yuan. 47296715). He works very hard to help me transcribe and likes helping on Findagrave.
Please visit my sponsored memorials and leave a token for my family. My father, James and mother, June Foster Lively; My brother James Lively Jr.

Thank you for the memorial transfer. It wasn't necessary for you to do that, but I do appreciate it.

You've uploaded a grave marker for Ida Allen that passed in 1978 to a memorial for Ida Allen that passed in 1947.

You put a picture of the headstone for Norman W. Jones on Norman H. Jones memorial. :) Just wanted to let you know of the error.

Hi, Linda. I have not received anything from you recently. Have you sent something since the last time we spoke?

Good morning Linda,
If you are descended from Howard McClain and Hilda Clark born in Indiana and buried in LA, then you and I are cousins!
My father John Henry McClain Jr. was the younger brother of Howard (by 18 years!).
I have a McClain family tree back (with a pretty high degree of certainty) to a George McClain born 1815 or 1816 in Virginia (or Ohio).
What kind of info do you need? I have been to Indiana and gathered as much as I could regarding records. Let me know. I am more than happy to share! Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I always look around for other names and take a picture and place it on the person's page. It is possible with a Veteran's marker she could be buried in the same plot. What is her name and I'll look online.

Hello! I just sent a suggestion regarding a memorial, but I didn't realize that you were related to the Lively family until I started browsing through other memorials. I'm working on a project for my niece's husband. His mother, Doris, was a granddaughter of Thomas J. Lively. Could you please email me at email@example.com at your convenience? I'd love to speak with you about this family! Thanks!
