Bio Photo Hi Everyone!
Please list memorial number if requesting information/corrections/transfers. When on the memorial you click on the edit button of the memorial and add your question/suggestion it will provide me with information and directly link me to the memorial about which you are referring. Please know that if I have a person you know and love I will transfer them (unless in my family lineage).

When working a family cemetery, it is by request of a member of family interred there. Most often in their presence. On occasion, a cemetery in seriously neglected condition, perhaps all family deceased or moved away - then I will attempt to bring respect, care and honor back to the deceased by pulling weeds and photo the markers. As in the case when a coroner told me about a grave that had to be repaired, I got the coordinates - I photographed the entire family cemetery, small but priceless even in ruins - check it out the Sitler cemetery.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 76287900
Yup, that would be me from the Lexington County Museum. With Private Harris his enlistment in 1915 puts him just outside of the records of Ancestry as far as military service goes. I'm working on obtaining the records from the National Archives so that we can have a better picture of his service. The records for his parents are a bit confusing as there is a Willie Harris listed in the 1910 census as being the son of Alma Harris, however according to the WWI records his mothers name was Hattie. I will be working on getting more information on him in the next few weeks.

With Private Ernest Jackson, will be glad to help see what we can find out about him as well!

Memorial # 20693943 Charlie Flake
My 2nd great aunt Lily Hay was married to Charlie. Can you tell me anything about the trial of Charlie and Toland Flake? I found the 1940 census and Toland lived with his Dad Ben and Charlie is right above them with Lily, so apparently Toland and Charlie never served time. Any information is appreciated. I think you helped me on before.Thanks.

Olive Haltiwanger
If you need more information to confirm updates for Olive Haltiwanger Oxner Ward 70155752 please let me know. I found that she was third wife of George D Oxner when I read obit listing her as surviving stepmother of my cousin Corley Oxner 170005378.

Thank you for the info. It is my understanding that Jacob E Powell died in Fairfield County and is buried there somewhere. After his death, Malinda moved to her son Jacob's home in Sardinia, Clarendon County. I have Jacob E Powell's NC family info that I will be happy to share.
