If you are requesting a transfer, please just email or use the edit tab. Nearly all of the memorials that I have with surnames listed above are direct ancestors. I ordinarily will not transfer those but am open to all other requests. Thank you for your understanding.

We are all on a journey. I am thankful for those who are kind and helpful, and I try to follow their example. Most of these records are public knowledge, but having a place to share them more quickly and in one place, makes it so much simpler for those who have nowhere to start other than here. Be kind and helpful.

John C. Landis - FAG # 133636490
Could you please delete the above from the list of children of Bryant Landis & Margaret Ogilvie Landis - the latter two were my 3g grandparents and they only had 9 children. They did have a son James Augustine who was born May 1845. Thank you very much for your help.

Let's leave your photo on the top, it's better and sharper. The photos I took that day were very impromtu. Just riding along and saw those few markers up on the hill and stopped and took the photos. Didn't have anything with me to clear the weeds.

James Harley Wildes #46913620
Dear Wyndy:
My name is Marybeth Wildes Sapp. I am the Granddaughter of James Harley Wildes, Memorial #46913620. The month of Granddaddy's birth is incorrect on the memorial page (you have November). However, his correct birthdate is January 21, 1875 as evidenced by the picture of his grave on the memorial page. (Charles Edward Wildes is my Father.)

Polly Powell in Rewis Cemetery Tattnall County, Ga
Hi Wyndy, Looking at information you and Olivia have on Mem# 47925059 for Polly Powell. Olivia is mistaken about this being Abraham's wife--this is his mother Mary "Polly" Powell. She can be found in the 1900 Tattnall Census with her granddaughter Lizer Powell the daughter of Abraham Powell and Doriann Collins. Mary Elizabeth Powell Sikes a daughter of Abraham Powell and Doriann Collins, Mem#13965692 is buried with her husband John W. Sikes in the Connors Baptist Church Cemetery. Abraham Powell and Doriann Collins had a son William Arthur Powell who died in 1940. Hope this information helps to clear up this problem. Thank you, Renee Johnson

Spicer family
Hi Wyndy,

I am researching my husband's family, the Spicers. My husband is descent from William C. and Margaret J. (Moore) Spicer's son John H. Spicer. Thanks for all the info you have for them, it has filled in some gaps that I have! However, the death date you have for John is incorrect, it should be Jan 22, 1928 in Swifton, Jackson, Arkansas.

Thanks again, and your welcome to email me and we can talk "family tree" stuff!

Thomas Jefferson Bird
Thomas Jefferson Bird was still living in 1860. The family can be found in Emanuel County. This portion later became Candler. He is not living in 1870. The 1850 on his tombstone should probably have been 1860.
