Dear Findagrave Friends and Enthusiasts
My many thanks to all of you who have contributed to Findagrave Memorials. You are such a blessing to those searching for loved ones.

My interest began when I worked in a local funeral home here in Hailey, Idaho and saw all of the many records from present and previous Funeral Directors in books, boxes, binders and computer databases. I thought how nice it would be if they were all in one database. So that's what I did. I have about 11,000 entries for all of Blaine County, listing everyone who died here plus everyone who was buried here. Right now I am searching for those who died here and were buried some place else. That may be a never ending search.

Our first real funeral home that I have records of was the Harris Furniture Company that started in 1896 building coffins, but there are headstones that date back to 1879.

For my present work I tune, repair and move pianos. I also play for parties, like the one in my photo.

I will gladly turn over any FG memorials to any family member or close friend who would like to maintain them and add to them.

Thanks

Michael White
