|Hello to all, I have always liked walking through cemeteries marveling at how old some of the tombstones were.|
My mother and I were the keepers of the family history. Mom passed away in 2008. Since her death, I have been trying to update the family history book and take pictures of the family tombstones so they won't be forgotten.
And then I came across findagrave and I got hooked.
It saddens me to see tombstones in disrepair, neglected and forgotten. It is awful when someone dies and there isn't anybody left to care. How many people are going to slip into
oblivion because their tombstone didn't last another winter?
When I put pictures on findagrave; if the wording on that tombstone disentegrates, then there will be a picture of that stone so maybe someone searching their ancestors will see the picture and care. Those who have gone before us deserve recognition.
If you have any corrections or additions to any memorial I have put on or wish a transfer, use the edit tab on the memorial page. Any emails sent directly to me will be considered spam if it does not say find a grave in the subject line. If you wonder why your email is not answered, it was probably considered spam. I will only do additions,corrections,or transfers when the edit tab is used on the memorial page.
Because obituaries are copyrighted, I will not put them onto memorials. Please don't ask.
If you want a transfer of a relative it must be within the guidelines of findagrave.com.
Please have the courtesy to give your contributor number on your request.

I want to thank you very much for the transfers of the three Davis children. I learned a lesson in the process. Do not ask for transfers after staying up too late. That was about the most dis-organized request I have ever submitted. Thanks for all three. They are greatly appreciated. Thanks also for the time and effort you have put into Find A Grave.
Is Matt your Son if so i know him from Sonics

Thank you for your memorial posting. As you have suggested, I will use the edit tab to correct the date of death listed for Lieutenant Albert Hess. The correct date of death can be noted in Pennsylvania, Death Certificates, 1906-1963 as part of the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission files; Pennsylvania, USA; Certificate Number Range: 073501-076500

Thank you for the memorials. John, Rachel, and Bessie are the precious keys to our family history. I hope to find Gabriel's siblings, and bring them all together once again.
|Wendy D||Thank you|
I wanted to thank you for all that you do for Find A Grave. This is such an important project and means so much to so many people to preserve an image of the memorial and help with genealogy research. You are awesome!!

Hi Barbara - Thank you for the transfer of Joan Lyon's memorial. I am her daughter in law and was very happy to see a page for her. Do you happen to have or know where I could find a layout of Moore Hill cemetery? Lori
