Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am married with four children ranging from 5-11 years old.I love history and love genealogy. I have really enjoyed doing genealogy and as a result have gathered many headstone pictures, many of which I took to help others out online. My lines include such as Thorstenberg, Hammett, Guhde, Weatherill, Morris, and many others. My wifes include Tuckers, Trowers, Johnsons, Hookers and many others as well.

Ken

P.S. I know several people have sent corrections to me. I am not ignoring them - they are in a special email folder for it. I'm just so busy working overtime at work that I've not had a chance to do them justice. I will try to get to them ASAP. Thanks!

Cyrus Parsons - Regiment he served with
You mention Cyrus was in the Civil War. Do you happen to know which regiment he served with?

Thanks,

Cyrus and Columbus Parsons
Hi Ken,
I saw you mentioned that one met his wife in Stoddard, then moved to Pulaski County. You also mentioned they served in the Confederate Army.

I'm trying to track down a Cyrus and Columbus Parsons, who both signed up to serve with a unit primarily from Stoddard County, the 12th Missouri Missouri State Militia, Company C.

Any chance these are the same people? The muster record didn't have ages, but other things seem to fit.

Thanks,
Ron Bremner

Picture Of John Griggs family
Ken, The pictures on the John E Griggs memorial are wonderful. Do you know who is who in the picture and is the wife Sarah Ann Zumwalt or Samantha Hughes. May I have your permission to save these photos to my computer? Sarah Ann Zumwalt is my Great Grandmother's sister. Thank you so much for sharing these pictures.

Thomas L Manes
I'm working on the Manes family genealogy and have Thomas L Manes is listed as Francis Marion Manes's son and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Kissinger Manes. It's not listed on the grave information. His wife was Hettie Melinda Ledbetter and she was born in Pulaski County Missouri on March 27th 1873.
Every family tree has Thomas listed as his son. Thoughts?

Samantha Hughes Griggs
Find A Grave Memorial# 10152705
If Samantha died in 1880, how could she be the mother of the children born after 1880. Do they belong to John Edward Griggs Jr, 2nd wife Sarah Ann Zumwalt?
Thanks, Melanie

William Rollo Hammett
William is my 3rd great grandfather. I am from his son Benjamin's line. Thank you so much for posting the photo of his headstone. I was under the impression that it had been destroyed. I'm so happy that it was not.
Also It's nice to know that I have other Hammett cousins who are doing research. I would be happy to share notes with you if you care to. My direct email is normagardiner@comcast.net.

Find A Grave Change
A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. If I have sent this to you before, sorry, but I didn't see it on your profile page. thanks!!! ~Peggy

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/ places/plot #s/links to spouse/s and parents.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.
