Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always enjoyed going through cemeteries and have since I was a young lad. It's one of my many interests. Obviously, genealogy is one of them along with photography, motorsports (I raced inboard hydroplanes from 1976-2003), baseball, acting in local plays, traveling to Europe, and watching movies (I appeared in the film "Madison" playing the governor of Indiana in 2005). I currently live in Kentucky and teach at a high school in Indiana along with being the mayor in the town where I live and being active in my church. With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.

Mount Tabor Cemetery Trimble County
Dear Mr. Jackson: I recently visited this cemetery and was really upset about it's condition. It looks nothing like the pictures on this website. It is grown over with lots of foliage and tree branches on the ground plus tombstones are falling over or sinking into the ground. I have no relatives in this cemetery but am hoping you do and would consider revamping this cemetery to bring back the honor and dignity to those who are buried there. Thanks for your consideration, Debbie Mahoney

I just wanted to drop a line to thank all of you people for keeping our loved ones memories alive by what you do, I find this to be the place I can talk to my mother since I can't physically go to her resting place, I just think it is great that there are others who care for others so with that thank you and to all your people who do this, this is true love for one another! 💜

Stewart Genealogy
Denny, I had to look up "taken to the woodshed". A new one for me. haha! That is the problem with helping others to find their lines, difficult to state it so it is not offensive. I just wanted you to look at this site and see if you agree that it is comprehensive, factual and that the resources appear to be quite authentic.

I have worked on this line for many years. I think that James Dinwoodie of Edinburgh, a professional genealogist spent much of his life researching the Stewart lines. Being close to many of the resources, it would make sense that he is pretty close to the truth.

Chuck Speed is with the sociology dept. at a university in Texas. Ryk Brown is a former Presbyterian minister. Both are well educated and appear to use good resources. Jared Olar works for newspaper in Illinois and has written about the Alexander problem, laying out his reasoning.

That is why I asked you to look at this site as it gives a lot of information in one place with appropriate notations for their work.

I am interested in what you have to say about it. Perhaps we could correspond via e-mail.

RE: Robert Stuart memorial
You know there is a lot of garbage out there on any of the genealogy sites, with people continuing to copy it without checking any of their facts for accuracy. One of the most frequent in the Stewart/Stuart lines is about Robert Stewart and Jannette Forsythe who married and as Robert's widow, she came to America with two of her sons and their children. John was married and had a large family. Robert had no wife but had two sons. One of the myths about Jannette is that there was an Alexander in her brood. That has been disproved over and over by several researchers and professional genealogists and no one seems to notice, or if they did, they are too tied to their own set of facts they neglect to look into it.
You may like to go to this website and just stir around and see what you can find. May change your outlook on the Stewart/Stuart genealogy.
These two researchers have proven most of their lineages. Others have added theirs based on proveable facts.

It bothers me when incorrect information is floated about and often the researchers don't care. So I continue to put my two cents in to
help the cause of accuracy.
