ah. thank you for the help. We have an old mystery about a Mary "Dickens" or "Duckens" and ditto for a Lucy [in earlier generation]. I had thought the response might be relevant but that is not the case. thanks again for your help and your contributions to the community of gen searchers :)

forgive my lack of skill using find-a-grave. I haven't used the resource much. I don't see a memorial number anywhere on the page but the link is:
Now that I go back, I cannot figure out what associated link I ticked to get to a page where there were notes/discussions left by a variety of members concerning the memorial. it was just a straight list down the page, in date order I think, with the respondee's id/link and the note that was left. mostly usual stuff about problem genealogy issues. There I saw the note an it seemed to be attributed under your id.
